Crest Audio Powers Bali’s Explosive Day Zero Debut Knowledge Hub Latest Live News by Elton - May 29, 2026May 27, 2026 INDONESIA: Bali’s inaugural edition of Day Zero transformed the island into a pulsating hub for underground electronic music culture, with Crest Audio systems playing a central role in delivering the sonic horsepower behind one of the region’s most demanding EDM festival environments. Created by Damian Lazarus and originally launched in Tulum, Mexico, Day Zero has built a global reputation for blending immersive staging, large-scale production design and world-class house and techno artists into visually and sonically intense festival experiences. The Bali debut attracted approximately 9,000 attendees across multiple stages, featuring performances from artists including Acid Pauli, AME DJ and Anthony Middleton. At Stage 3, the audio deployment centred around Crest Audio Versarray 112 Pro, Versarray 215 Pro and Versarray 218 Pro systems, supported by CPL+ loudspeakers for delay coverage. The entire setup was powered by Crest Audio Pro-LITE amplifiers and PCX processors, forming a system designed to maintain high-output performance, clarity and operational stability throughout the extended festival runtime. Front-of-house operations for the stage were managed by Peavey’s Bali partner Vilon Group Bali (VGB), who oversaw system deployment and operation during the event. “As one of Bali’s premier systems integrators, we are thrilled with our investment in the Crest Audio systems,” said Dean Morris from VGB. “Whether it is for permanent installs like we have done at several entertainment venues across Bali or it is rentals for festivals such as Day Zero, the reliability and versatility of the Crest product in handling different genres of music is second to none. They also sound exceptional, which is a must in these demanding environments.” The production reportedly placed substantial demands on the audio infrastructure, requiring the system not only to achieve the high SPL levels associated with large-scale electronic music festivals, but also to maintain sonic consistency and reliability across prolonged continuous operation while supporting a diverse lineup of performers and DJ styles. Akshay Vaida, Director, Peavey APAC, highlighted the endurance aspect of the deployment, stating: “We are very proud and honored for the Crest Audio Versarray and CPL+ systems to be chosen for a festival as sonically demanding as Day Zero. Congratulations and thank you to all of the organizers involved for bringing such an exciting and inspiring event to Bali. EDM is a genre that can be extremely demanding for sonic hardware and to power through 24 hours of continuous performance – and 48 hours total over three days – with zero issues is testament to the supreme build quality of our Crest Audio and Peavey hardware.” The successful deployment further strengthens Crest Audio’s visibility within Asia’s premium live event and festival market, particularly as Bali continues to establish itself as a destination for globally recognised music, lifestyle and experiential events. Set against large-scale lighting design, immersive visual production and atmospheric staging, the Crest Audio system delivered the sustained energy and operational reliability required to support the marathon-style event environment. Following the success of the inaugural Bali edition, organisers are reportedly expected to establish Day Zero Bali as a recurring annual festival, potentially paving the way for even larger future productions.
