Void Acoustics Delivers Large-Scale Immersive Audio Installation at Bangkok’s Nextopia Install Knowledge Hub Latest News by Elton - March 19, 2026March 19, 2026 THAILAND: Void Acoustics has completed a major multi-level retail sound installation at Nextopia, an experiential destination located on Floors 5 and 5A of Siam Paragon and operated by Siam Piwat Group. Spanning more than 22,000 square metres, the venue blends shopping, culture, live events and immersive experiences, with an audio infrastructure designed to support a diverse range of applications—from ambient music to DJ performances and concert-style activations. The project brief called for a system capable of delivering consistent clarity and control across multiple levels with varying ceiling heights, while enabling precise zoning for independent area management without compromising on visual integration or construction requirements. Moving beyond conventional retail audio approaches, the installation required a carefully engineered solution that could maintain tonal consistency and coverage throughout the expansive space. Void Acoustics was selected for the project following a previous installation at Raynue, Bangkok, with system design and integration carried out by Aura Visual System, the brand’s exclusive distributor in Thailand. Working closely with Void’s technical team, Aura Visual System implemented a cohesive solution across Floors 4, 5 and 5A, ensuring alignment and uniform performance across all zones. “This is the largest project we have ever undertaken. It was extremely demanding, but at the same time incredibly exciting. We worked closely on fine tuning each individual loudspeaker to ensure the most realistic and immersive sound coverage possible,” said the Project Manager at Aura Visual System. The installation brings together a comprehensive mix of full-range, low-frequency and high-performance loudspeakers, supported by Bias amplification, to deliver expansive coverage, precise zoning and consistent tonal balance. Floor 4 is equipped with 57 units of the Cirrus 6.1. Floor 5 integrates 15 units of the Cyclone 55, 2 units of the Cyclone 10, 5 units of the Venu 112 V2 and 6 units of the Cirrus 6.1. Meanwhile, Floor 5A features 2 units of the Air Motion V2, 2 units of the Venu 218 V2, 11 units of the Cyclone 10 and 8 units of the Venu 112 V2. Powering the system is a combination of 3 units of the Bias D1+, 11 units of the Bias Q1.5+, 1 unit of the Bias Q2+ and 1 unit of the Bias Q3 amplifiers. With its combination of scale, flexibility and precision, the system enables Nextopia to transition seamlessly between day-to-day retail operation and high-energy event environments, creating an adaptable and immersive audio experience throughout the venue. “Nextopia is a powerful example of what’s possible when sound is treated as a core part of the experience. The scale and complexity of the space demanded absolute precision, and the result is an immersive system that delivers consistent clarity and impact across every level,” said Sam Brandon, Managing Director at Void Acoustics.
