Hi-Tech Audio & Image Continues Technical Education Drive with L-Acoustics Advanced Training

INDIA: Following the success of India’s first L-Acoustics Open Training held in April 2026, Hi-Tech Audio & Image, the official distributor of L-Acoustics in India, has reinforced its commitment to technical education by hosting the L-Acoustics Advanced System Training in New Delhi from 7th-9th July 2026. Conducted by Sergey Becker, Application Engineer at L-Acoustics, the three-day programme brought together audio professionals, system engineers, consultants, rental companies, system integrators and freelancers from across the country for an in-depth exploration of advanced system design, optimisation and calibration.

Designed to build technical knowledge progressively, the programme covered Variable Curvature Line Source (VCLS) principles on the opening day, providing participants with a detailed understanding of line source behaviour and system design fundamentals. The second day focused on Sub Low Frequencies, examining low-frequency system behaviour, optimisation techniques and deployment strategies, while the final day concentrated on Loudspeaker System Calibration, where attendees gained practical experience with measurement techniques, system alignment and calibration workflows used in professional live sound applications.

Complementing the technical curriculum, Sergey Becker shared insights from his own experience working on live sound projects, demonstrating how the concepts presented during the programme translate into real-world system deployment. He also highlighted the importance of ongoing professional development in enabling engineers to make informed technical decisions and maximise system performance in demanding production environments.

“It is my first time in India, and it has been an amazing experience. The training sessions were highly interactive, and it was great to engage with professionals who brought diverse experiences and thoughtful questions. I truly enjoyed meeting everyone and exchanging ideas throughout the programme,” said Sergey Becker, Application Engineer at L-Acoustics.

The training also provided a collaborative platform for participants to exchange experiences, discuss technical challenges and explore deployment strategies alongside the L-Acoustics engineering team, fostering valuable knowledge sharing across multiple sectors of the professional audio industry.

“The demand for L-Acoustics solutions in India continues to grow, and with that comes the need for world-class technical education. Our vision has always extended beyond in-house training- we aim to bring globally recognised education programmes and leading international brands to India, enabling our partners and customers to learn directly from the experts. Through continuous education and knowledge sharing, we are committed to strengthening the professional audio community and helping the industry unlock the full potential of advanced technologies,” said Rajan Gupta, Founder & CEO, Hi-Tech Audio & Image.

“As professional audio technology continues to evolve, continuous technical learning becomes increasingly important. Programmes like these provide professionals with the opportunity to gain deeper product knowledge, interact directly with L-Acoustics experts, and exchange valuable experiences with peers from across the industry. Ultimately, this strengthens the technical ecosystem of the professional audio industry,” added Nirdosh Aggarwal, Managing Partner, Hi-Tech Audio & Image.

Beyond the classroom sessions, attendees visited Hi-Tech Audio & Image’s Experience Centre, where they experienced immersive audio in a dedicated 11.1.6 L-Acoustics Home Theatre featuring X8i, 5XT, SOKA, SB10i, SYVA SUB and LA7.16i. Recognised as India’s first home theatre operating on an AES67 digital network, the facility enabled participants to experience high-performance AV technologies in a practical environment while reinforcing the concepts covered during the training.
