INDIA: Premier Indian live event rental company Sound.com has strengthened its inventory with the addition of a DiGiCo Quantum852 console, marking the latest step in a long-running association with DiGiCo systems supplied in India by Hi-Tech Audio & Image, the brand’s official distributor in India. The arrival follows Sound.com’s earlier investments in the DiGiCo SD5 and Quantum338, with the Quantum852 now taking the lead as the company continues to expand its capabilities for larger and increasingly technically demanding productions.

Sound.com has supported a number of India’s leading artists and major live events, including Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Shreya Ghoshal, AR Rahman and AP Dhillon, as well as festivals such as Lollapalooza and the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival. The latest console addition comes alongside the recent arrival of an L-Acoustics L2 system, further bolstering the company’s production inventory.

The Quantum852 acquisition signals Sound.com’s continued focus on scaling its technical capabilities to meet the requirements of major touring artists, engineers and production partners operating at the highest levels of India’s live events industry.

Hi-Tech Audio & Image congratulated Sound.com’s Founder & Director, Warren D’Souza and the entire team on the latest addition, describing the continued partnership as an important journey alongside one of the country’s prominent live event production companies.
