RCF Confirms Trademark Victory in China to Strengthen Global Brand Protection Knowledge Hub Latest News by Elton - July 13, 2026July 10, 2026 CHINA: RCF S.p.A has strengthened its global intellectual property protection efforts after securing a favourable final judgment in the People’s Republic of China, preventing the unauthorised use of its “RCF” trademark by Ningbo S&A Electronics Co., Ltd. The Intermediate People’s Court of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, upheld an earlier ruling that found Ningbo S&A Electronics had infringed RCF’s registered trademark rights through the unauthorised use of the “RCF” and “rcf” marks in online promotions. The court ordered the company to cease all unauthorised use of the trademarks and to compensate RCF for economic losses and legal expenses. According to RCF, the ruling represents a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing global brand protection programme and reinforces its commitment to safeguarding its intellectual property, reputation, authorised sales network and customers. “For RCF, trademark protection is not only a legal matter. It is a direct commitment to the people who choose our products and rely on the authenticity associated with our name,” said Gioia Molinari, Director of Marketing and PR at RCF. “This judgment confirms that the exploitation of our brand will not be tolerated. We will continue to take decisive action worldwide to protect our assets, our partners, and the integrity of the professional audio market.” RCF noted that its products are developed through an integrated engineering process encompassing acoustic research, transducer design, custom electronics, mechanical engineering and software development, supported by rigorous quality control throughout manufacturing. The company cautioned that counterfeit, unauthorised or misleadingly promoted products may fail to deliver the levels of performance, reliability, safety and long-term value associated with genuine RCF solutions. As part of its wider anti-counterfeiting initiatives, RCF continues to encourage customers to purchase products only through authorised distribution channels and to verify product authenticity using the company’s dealer verification resources, Security Hologram and serial number validation system. The manufacturer added that it will continue to monitor global marketplaces and work with international authorities to combat trademark infringement and protect the integrity of the professional audio industry.
