Ayrton has officially launched RawBeam 350, a new laser-sourced ultra-compact luminaire that brings high-intensity beam performance, extensive effects capabilities and exceptional versatility into a remarkably compact form factor. First unveiled at ISE 2026, the fixture joins the company’s Ultimate Series portfolio and has been engineered to serve a wide range of professional lighting applications, from large-scale EDM productions and touring shows to television studios and live events.

Sharing the same footprint and dimensions as Ayrton’s Diablo fixture, RawBeam 350 combines a phosphor-converted laser light source with a proprietary 13-lens optical system and a substantial 160mm front lens. The result is a fixture capable of generating more than 1,340,000 lux at 10 metres, while offering an impressive 40:1 zoom ratio that operates across a range from an ultra-tight 1.1° beam through to a broad 45° spread.

Designed to maximise creative possibilities, RawBeam 350 incorporates Ayrton’s signature infinite Pan and Tilt rotation capabilities alongside the company’s Short Cut function, enabling rapid repositioning and the creation of dynamic movement effects.

Despite its compact dimensions, the fixture arrives loaded with an extensive suite of creative tools. In keeping with the Ultimate Series philosophy, RawBeam 350 combines miniaturisation with advanced colour, effects and motion capabilities. Its colour system is built around a CMY colour-mixing engine paired with an ultra-fast gradient CTO system mounted on discs, delivering accurate colour reproduction and smooth colour transitions. A wheel containing 15 complementary colours, a multi-colour RGB-CMY animation section and a CTB filter further expand the creative palette available to designers.

The fixture’s effects package is equally comprehensive. RawBeam 350 features 10 rotating quartz gobos, 25 fixed metal gobos, four beam reducers and an animation wheel, allowing users to create highly defined beam and projection effects. The system is further enhanced by two sets of three combinable rotating image-multiplying prisms, enabling the generation of intricate volumetric aerial effects and complex layered visuals. Heavy and light Frost filters complete the effects package, broadening the fixture’s application range from razor-sharp beam work to softer atmospheric looks.

Like all Ayrton luminaires introduced since 2023, RawBeam 350 has been designed with a strong focus on weight reduction and feature density. The fixture carries an IP65 rating, allowing deployment in both indoor and outdoor environments, including challenging saline conditions, while maintaining full accessibility for service and operation. Weighing just 25.4kg, it also introduces a newly developed cooling system specifically optimised for its laser light source, ensuring quiet operation and reliable performance.
