NSL Group Becomes LEA Professional Distribution Partner in New Zealand

NEW ZEALAND: LEA Professional has expanded its distribution network in Oceania through a new partnership with NSL Group, appointing the New Zealand-based AV distributor to bring its portfolio of intelligent amplifier technologies to customers across the country.

The partnership strengthens LEA Professional’s presence in the New Zealand market while giving local AV integrators access to the company’s portfolio of intelligent IT-based audio solutions, digital signal processing technologies and power management systems. NSL Group, which specialises in distributing professional audio and commercial AV technologies, will represent LEA Professional’s Network Connect series of professional amplifiers alongside the Dante Connect series, which incorporates Dante and AES67 connectivity.

Designed for modern networked AV installations, the amplifier platforms enable cloud-based remote control, monitoring and notifications from any internet-enabled device, allowing integrators to manage and monitor systems remotely.

“New Zealand deserves the highest quality technology and customer service, and LEA Professional delivers exactly that,” said Carl Win, COO of NSL Group. “LEA has demonstrated its commitment to innovation and customer care; they are exactly the kind of team we want to partner with.”

LEA Professional’s amplifier portfolio incorporates onboard 96kHz DSP, LEA Cloud connectivity, WebUI, third-party API control, real-time load monitoring, Lo-Z/70V/100V selectable by channel, event and fault monitoring, high-efficiency power design, more than 3,000 speaker tuning presets and the company’s SharkWare amplifier control software.

“LEA and NSL Group make an excellent partnership in every way,” said David McKinney, Managing Director of Generation AV, who will collaborate closely with NSL as an authorised partner of LEA. “When two strong forces come together like this, it’s exciting to imagine what’s possible in the New Zealand market.”
