ETC Expands Control Portfolio with Foundry DIN Relay 12 And New Wireless Fixture Support

ETC has announced two new additions to its control and lighting ecosystem, introducing the standalone Foundry DIN Relay 12 power switching module while also expanding wireless control capabilities for select High End Systems fixtures through compatibility with City Theatrical’s Multiverse Connect Module.

The newly launched Foundry DIN Relay 12 brings the core relay technology from ETC’s Foundry Switch Panel into a standalone format, allowing system designers and integrators greater flexibility when building custom control solutions. Designed and manufactured in Europe, the module provides remote power switching for a broad range of applications extending beyond lighting, including work lights, house and lobby lighting, architectural loads and LED-only lighting systems.

The relay module is designed for integration into custom cabinets, production panels and facility control environments, offering a cost-effective DIN-rail-based switching solution. It can operate alongside ETC control platforms including Paradigm, Mosaic and Echo, while also supporting integration with third-party AV and building management systems where customised power control is required.

Alongside the Foundry DIN Relay 12 launch, ETC has also announced support for City Theatrical’s Multiverse Connect Module, 2.4 GHz, across select High End Systems fixtures. The compact device enables wireless DMX/RDM connectivity through the Universal Connect Module socket incorporated within compatible fixtures.

Initially, the Multiverse Connect Module will be available for use with Lonestar Prime, MegaPix and GigaPix fixtures. Once installed, users can enable wireless functionality through a series of menu adjustments, allowing fixtures to communicate via City Theatrical’s Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM platform without requiring external wireless receivers.

“With this new option, we’re excited to make wireless control accessible to our customers when they want it,” says Tania Lesage, ETC Market Manager. “This addition to our accessory line-up builds on ETC’s longstanding partnership with City Theatrical for reliable wireless control solutions.”

The Multiverse Connect Module supports seamless RDM integration and can be configured directly through the host fixture’s user interface or via RDM. The system utilises a USB Type-C connector and requires installation of a dedicated Multiverse Mount Kit, after which the module securely attaches to the fixture.

Importantly for outdoor applications, both the module and mounting kit carry an IP64 rating, ensuring that Lonestar Prime, MegaPix and GigaPix fixtures retain their suitability for outdoor productions while benefiting from wireless operation.

Together, the announcements further expand ETC’s offering across both architectural and entertainment lighting sectors, providing greater flexibility for system integrators while enhancing deployment options for users seeking streamlined control and wireless connectivity solutions.
