HARMAN Advances FLUX:: Ecosystem with SPAT Revolution 26.04 and MiRA 26.04 Ennovations Knowledge Hub Latest by Elton - April 17, 2026April 16, 2026 Harman Professional Solutions has rolled out significant updates to its FLUX:: software ecosystem with the release of SPAT Revolution 26.04 and MiRA 26.04, introducing a suite of new capabilities aimed at advancing immersive audio production, refining workflows, and enhancing system analysis. Marking the first major SPAT Revolution upgrade in two years, the releases target a broad spectrum of applications spanning fixed installations, live production, and content creation. At the centre of SPAT Revolution 26.04 is the introduction of Multi Media Recording and Playback, a feature that enables users to capture, store, and reproduce immersive sessions directly within the software environment. With a built-in media player supporting timeline-based playback, users can manage multiple timelines without relying on external hardware, while simultaneously retaining the ability to perform live object mixing. This hybrid workflow offers live engineers a powerful tool to integrate preproduced immersive content with real-time performance elements. Further strengthening its show-control capabilities, SPAT Revolution 26.04 introduces a new Cue Sequencer, allowing programmable events to be triggered by defined internal or external conditions. This enables automated, condition-based responses, supporting tightly synchronised immersive workflows for both live environments and complex installations. Complementing this is the Morphed Protection Zone feature, which adapts protection zone geometry to real-world venue layouts rather than fixed circular models, resulting in smoother spatial transitions and more consistent level behaviour for moving sound sources. The update also expands immersive format compatibility with the addition of Audio Definition Model (ADM) import, enabling direct loading of Dolby Atmos ADM-WAV files from digital audio workstations into SPAT Revolution. This allows users to render content into any spatial environment without reconstructing automation or exporting stems, preserving the integrity of the original mix across applications such as museums, exhibitions, and live immersive experiences. A significantly enhanced SPAT Revolution plug-in now offers full control over spatialisation parameters directly from leading DAWs including Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Nuendo, Logic Pro, and Reaper. For the first time, integrated FLUX:: processing—covering source, room, and output channel processing—is embedded directly within the audio chain, consolidating over 25 years of FLUX:: expertise into a unified immersive production platform. Additional enhancements include object movement animation for precise and repeatable spatial behaviours, expanded synchronisation via LTC, MTC, and Ableton Link, and advanced sub-matrixing tools for efficient management of large-scale loudspeaker systems. A redesigned user interface introduces customisable layouts, improved navigation, and expanded language support, including Chinese and Japanese, reflecting the growing global demand for immersive workflows. Alongside SPAT Revolution, MiRA 26.04 delivers notable advancements in real-time audio analysis. A new AI-powered Auto EQ feature enables users to define target curves and automatically generate EQ settings using an AI-based algorithm, simplifying system tuning while improving consistency. Native support for HARMAN with OF target curves ensures alignment with established performance standards. MiRA 26.04 also expands its analytical capabilities with support for an unlimited number of simultaneous input streams, accommodating up to 24 channels per stream for parallel system analysis. Enhanced measurement workflows allow users to generate multiple computed curves per session, automate sequential measurements, and perform RTA-based analysis without a reference signal. Further refinements include updated loudness metering with Peak-to-Loudness Ratio (PLR) and Peak-to-Short-Term Loudness Ratio (PSR) metrics, offering deeper insight into dynamic behaviour. Improvements to the I/O configuration interface, a new auto-colour system for captures, and a daylight mode for enhanced visibility round out the update. “SPAT Revolution 26.04 and MiRA 26.04 updates represent an important step in how immersive productions are created, managed and delivered,” said Gael Martinet, Director of Software Development at FLUX::. “By integrating playback, processing and control into a single environment, these updates reduce workflow fragmentation and gives users more flexibility across a wide range of applications.” Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share
