Ayrton has expanded its Creative Series with the launch of MagicBlade Neo, an entirely new linear fixture concept that pushes the boundaries of modular lighting design and visual expression. Conceived as an organic and highly innovative luminaire, MagicBlade Neo introduces a system capable of generating endlessly reconfigurable light curtains, dynamic volumetric effects, and complex multi-dimensional structures; marking a significant evolution in creative stage lighting tools.

Built on the foundation of the all-new MagicDot Neo, MagicBlade Neo integrates five independently controllable moving heads within a remarkably compact architecture, spaced just 3mm apart. This ultra-tight configuration is enabled by a newly engineered structure designed to efficiently absorb vibrations, ensuring stability and precision even in demanding operating conditions. The result is a fixture that combines mechanical finesse with high-performance output, delivering consistent alignment and accuracy across applications.

That precision extends beyond the individual unit, with the fixture’s design ensuring seamless continuity when multiple MagicBlade Neo units are deployed together. The close proximity of the moving heads is mirrored between fixtures, enabling perfectly aligned, uninterrupted lines of light. This allows designers to construct ultra-compact matrices, achieve flawless linear compositions, and create striking perspective-driven visual effects with ease.

At its core, MagicBlade Neo is powered by five individual 120W RGB-L multi-chip LED sources, each paired with a high-efficiency 100mm optic integrated into a spherical design. This configuration delivers a colour palette of 4.29 billion hues, supported by a virtual CTC channel and Virtual Tint channel, alongside high CRI performance. The system achieves an output of 5 x 17,000 lux at 5m, providing the intensity and colour accuracy required for high-impact visual environments.

Optically, the fixture features a sophisticated 2-element 10:1 zoom system that enables seamless transitions from Beam to Wash, with a versatile zoom range spanning from 3° to 30°. Combined with flicker-free source management, MagicBlade Neo is well-suited to broadcast environments and video-recorded productions, where consistency and visual integrity are critical.

Further enhancing its creative potential, each lens incorporates a high-definition LiquidEffect ring comprising 60 individual pixels around its periphery. This feature enables the generation of intricate graphic effects, either independently or in combination with the primary beams, significantly expanding the fixture’s design vocabulary. The continuous pan and tilt rotation of the five independent heads, paired with the innovative “Short Cut” function for precise control of continuous rotation movements, opens up new possibilities for complex, fluid visual compositions.

Engineered for versatility, MagicBlade Neo carries an IP65 rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including challenging environments such as coastal locations. This robustness ensures consistent performance across a wide range of touring, event, and installation scenarios.
