GLP Scales Up with a Trio of New Fixture Launches

German Light Products (GLP) is all set to boast it’s largest-ever presence at the ISE show with the most extensive stand in its history, signalling continued growth and a sharpened focus on innovative, application-driven lighting solutions for installations, touring and events. Alongside its latest developments, GLP will present a broad cross-section of its current portfolio, including the widely adopted X5 series, the next-generation hybrid strobe JDC2 IP, JDC Burst 1, the Creos washlight and new fixtures from the Nexus range of wireless, battery-powered LED solutions. Drawing additional attention on the stand will be an exclusive special version of MAD MAXX, positioned as one of the show’s anticipated photo hotspots.

A key feature of GLP’s ISE presence is a dedicated product demonstration and application area designed to move beyond static display. During scheduled hands-on sessions, GLP product specialist René Geissel will guide visitors through the showcased fixtures, sharing practical insights into features, workflows and real-world applications. All current products will be integrated into a dedicated demo wall, enabling visitors to experience the luminaires live and hands-on, a format GLP reports has already proven successful at LDI, particularly with the JDC2 IP.

ISE will also serve as the launch platform for three new GLP fixtures. The GLP Twyn makes its official debut as a dual-face moving head that merges a powerful zoomable washlight with a high-impact hybrid strobe in a single compact unit, aimed at reducing fixture counts while broadening creative scope. Housed in an IP65-rated enclosure and featuring continuous pan and tilt within a compact 16kg form factor, Twyn is tailored for touring and multi-event venues. Also on preview is the GLP Wild Wash 12, extending the Wild Series as a compact, performance-oriented LED washlight designed to complement the Wild Bar 16. It integrates 12 × 40W RGBL LEDs delivering up to 5,790 lumens with a peak intensity of 1.08 Mcd, supported by GLP iQ.Gamut technology for calibrated colour mixing and defined white points. A motorised 1:19 zoom spans 3.5° to 54° to accommodate both tight beams and broad, even washes, while 540° pan, 270° tilt, a 16kg weight, 600 W maximum power consumption and an IP65-rated housing position it for efficient deployment across touring, festival and outdoor contexts.

Completing the trio, the GLP X5 Dot Wash arrives at ISE for its European showing following its world premiere at LDI. As the most compact fixture in the X5 Series, it produces RGBL light from a single 40W LED while maintaining high CRI, full colour matching with the X5 Series and 16-bit colour control. Its Twist-Zoom mechanism enables manual adjustment from 16° to 68° without changing the fixture’s body, and with an IP65 rating, 24–48 V DC operation and an optional adapter for classic accessories, the X5 Dot Wash is engineered for both visible and discreet lighting roles across theatrical, broadcast and architectural applications.
