d&b Group Welcomes Dr. Thilo Ittner as Chief Technology & Operations Officer

GLOBAL: d&b Group has announced the appointment of Dr. Thilo Ittner as its new Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO), effective 1 January 2026. In this strategic leadership role, he will oversee Technology, Product Management, R&D and Operations, driving a cohesive roadmap that aligns emerging customer demands with future market trajectories. His remit spans key innovation pillars including next-generation loudspeaker design, immersive audio, AI-driven solutions, advanced networking and cloud-enabled platforms, alongside the optimisation of d&b’s global operations and product delivery.

Dr. Ittner joins d&b with an extensive background in technology-centric environments. Most recently, as Managing Director and CTO at elobau, he led technology, end-to-end operations and strategic development, delivering profitable growth and notable gains in quality and cost performance. His earlier tenure at Voith included responsibility for product strategy, major new product launches and organisation-wide transformation initiatives. He also brings insights from his work at McKinsey, where he specialised in product development processes and lean manufacturing for the automotive and assembly sectors. His career highlights include scaling R&D organisations, implementing advanced development methodologies and deploying AI-based systems for complex production control.
