Dining Meets Dynamic Sound At House Of Yanki with Yamaha

INDIA: Yanki Sizzlerr & House of Yanki, a two-floor hospitality destination in Gandhinagar, India, has installed a Yamaha Professional Audio system designed to deliver consistent background music, clear speech reproduction and high-energy entertainment across its restaurant, banquet hall and entertainment zones. The installation, undertaken by Yamaha PA dealer ASMI Consultants and system integrator Future Automation Solutions, led by founder and managing partner Harsh Mehta, combines distributed loudspeaker systems with dedicated amplification and portable audio solutions to accommodate the venue’s varied operational requirements.

With spaces catering to everyday dining, corporate presentations, celebrations, live screenings and DJ performances, the venue required a flexible audio infrastructure capable of adapting to different activities without compromising sound quality or operational simplicity. Glass panels, polished flooring and other hard decorative surfaces presented additional acoustic challenges, making careful loudspeaker placement and system tuning important to achieving consistent coverage while maintaining comfortable listening levels.

The main restaurant features 21 Yamaha VXC2FW in-ceiling speakers powered by a Yamaha XMV4140 multichannel amplifier. The low-profile installation complements the interiors while providing distributed coverage across the dining area. Dedicated backboxes support controlled low-frequency reproduction and help reduce unwanted sound leakage, while a Yamaha STAGEPAS 400BT system provides additional flexibility for announcements, microphone use and interactive occasions.

In the banquet hall, 18 Yamaha VXC4 in-ceiling speakers, powered by a Yamaha XMV4280 multichannel amplifier, deliver audio for celebrations, presentations, speeches and hosted events. Centralised mixing enables staff to manage microphones, background music and other event sources from a single control point, simplifying transitions between different uses of the space.

The discotheque and entertainment zone adopts a more performance-oriented configuration, comprising four Yamaha CZR10 passive loudspeakers, two Yamaha CHR12M stage monitors and two Yamaha DXS12mkII powered subwoofers. Yamaha PX3 power amplifiers and a Yamaha MG10XU mixing console complete the system, providing the output, low-frequency impact and mixing flexibility required for DJ sets, parties and live entertainment.

Portable Yamaha STAGEPAS systems extend the venue’s audio capabilities to presentations, gatherings and other activities requiring a flexible, easy-to-operate solution. Across the installation, the emphasis is on straightforward operation, allowing staff to manage audio sources, levels and operating modes without having to navigate a complex technical interface.

The completed system supports a range of listening environments, from background music that complements dining and conversation to clear speech reproduction for presentations and announcements, alongside the more powerful output required for entertainment. Through zoned control, careful loudspeaker placement and customised tuning, the installation balances the venue’s architectural aesthetics with its operational demands.

The architectural vision for the project was led by Ar. Ekta Kapadia of EVK Architects, whose spatial design shaped the venue’s interiors. The Yamaha Professional Audio installation complements this approach with a sound infrastructure designed to transition between relaxed hospitality and energetic events, allowing Yanki Sizzlerr & House of Yanki to accommodate its diverse programming within a unified audio environment.
