INDIA: Delhi-based Music Beats, led by Taranjeet Singh, has expanded its professional sound inventory with a DAS Audio LARA system supplied by Stagemix Technologies LLP, the brand’s official distributor in India.

The investment comprises 12 LARA line array units and 10 LARA subwoofers, supported by two RACK-ARA-230-MK2 amplifier racks. The configuration adds a substantial system to Music Beats’ inventory for live events, concerts, touring productions and large-scale sound reinforcement.

At the centre of the investment is LARA, a four-way, self-amplified cardioid line array system rated at 6,000 W RMS and 12,000 W peak power, with a maximum SPL of 150 dB and 100° horizontal coverage. Its transducer configuration combines two 12-inch low-frequency drivers, two 8-inch mid-frequency drivers, two 3-inch high-frequency compression drivers and two 8-inch cardioid drivers.

The cardioid architecture provides up to 15 dB of rear attenuation between 63 Hz and 200 Hz, helping control low-frequency energy behind the array. LARA also incorporates FIR DSP and ALMA control, while its integrated rigging system supports arrays of up to 24 LARA units and 16 LARA SUB units.

For Music Beats, the addition represents a significant expansion of its ability to deploy a large-format DAS Audio system across demanding production environments, adding LARA to a growing professional sound inventory in the Indian market.
