Designed for music-focused and high-energy applications, the ShowTime STS118E is intended to complement high-output Bose Professional loudspeaker systems, including the AMU, AMM and Forum series, providing extended low-frequency reinforcement while maintaining consistent system voicing and simplifying system design and integration. “ShowTime STS118E gives our customers an easy way to add serious low-frequency energy to the systems they already trust,” said John Maier, CEO of Bose Professional. “It expands our clients’ existing installations in a way that feels seamless, working effortlessly with our loudspeakers, processors, and amplifiers so designers can scale performance without rethinking their entire platform.” The new subwoofer features an 18-inch low-frequency driver housed within an installation-grade enclosure designed for both ground-stacked and flown applications. Integrated suspension points and removable feet offer installation flexibility, while a universal pole cup supports both 35mm poles and M20-threaded poles for secure mounting of full-range loudspeakers where required. Engineered for permanent deployment in a variety of venues, the ShowTime STS118E incorporates an IP55-rated enclosure suitable for exposed and partially exposed outdoor environments.
