Global Truss Brings Full Braceworks Integration To International Vectorworks Platform

Global Truss has expanded its digital planning ecosystem by making its complete “GlobalTruss DE” library available within the international version of Vectorworks, including comprehensive Braceworks data across its supported truss portfolio.

The release forms part of the company’s 25th anniversary initiatives and marks a significant step forward in streamlining digital event, staging and rigging workflows for designers, engineers and production professionals worldwide.

With the integration, users can now access detailed Global Truss products directly within the Vectorworks and Braceworks environment, enabling more accurate technical planning, structural calculations and visualisation workflows from a single platform. In addition to standard aluminium finishes, the library also includes black truss systems complete with the relevant technical and engineering parameters required for professional rigging and production planning applications.

According to Global Truss, the implementation makes the company the first manufacturer to offer fully integrated black truss systems with Braceworks data across its compatible truss ranges within the international Vectorworks ecosystem, providing users with enhanced flexibility during both design and engineering stages.

A key role in the development and implementation process was played by the Rocketchris team, led by Christian Glatthor, who served as the technical service provider and development partner throughout the project. Their collaboration with Global Truss helped facilitate the successful integration of the company’s portfolio into the international Vectorworks environment.

By extending access to complete technical datasets within industry-standard planning software, Global Truss is further strengthening its position within the growing digital event design and rigging sector, while providing production professionals with more streamlined tools for project development, engineering verification and visual presentation.

The latest milestone underscores the company’s continued focus on innovation in digital workflow integration, reinforcing its commitment to supporting increasingly sophisticated planning and production requirements across the global live events industry.
