This acquisition marks another step in Biamp’s strategy to expand its engineering depth and future-proof its portfolio through the integration of advanced signal-processing capabilities.

For more than twenty years, ClearOne has been regarded as a pioneer in professional audio conferencing, driving innovation in DSP, acoustic echo cancellation, microphone array processing, and beamforming and beam-steering techniques. With this transaction, Biamp gains ownership of several significant designs and patents related to beamforming microphone arrays and advanced audio signal-processing technologies — a move that promises to enhance the company’s technological foundation across its product lines.
