Martin Audio’s TORUS Drives POC POC Garden Up the DJ Mag Global Rankings

POC POC Garden in Ho Chi Minh City has once again turned up the volume on Vietnam’s nightlife scene, rising higher in DJ Magazine’s 2025 Top 100 Clubs list. The internationally recognised venue first entered the rankings shortly after local specialists Duc Pro Audio equipped it with a powerful Martin Audio sound system in 2023. Now, the venue’s meteoric rise affirms its position as one of the world’s most iconic dance destinations.

Located in District 3, POC POC Garden boasts a striking outdoor space and high-energy performance stage that blends avant-garde artistry with cutting-edge EDM programming. In a fiercely competitive tender, Duc Pro Audio secured the project by drawing on Martin Audio’s elite pedigree in the global club scene — joining a distinguished list of superclubs such as Ministry of Sound and Fabric, both long-standing Martin Audio strongholds.

Pham Duy Quang, Product Manager at Duc Pro Audio, had no doubts about the solution. “As the height of the glass interior is approximately 8.5 metres and the capacity around 1,100, we knew TORUS would deliver extremely high-quality audio,” he declared. “The speakers produce a clean sound and combine extremely well with the powerful SXCF118 subwoofer.”

With a packed calendar of performances from top-tier DJs, international dance crews, Cuban acts, and even mermaid shows performed in a giant water tank, the venue demanded a versatile audio solution. “The club also welcomes dance crews from Cuba, and has a giant water tank with daily mermaid performances and many other spectacular visuals that make use of a huge ceiling hoist system. TORUS handles it all effortlessly, and delivers an impressive performance,” added Quang.

The installation’s design was key to its success. Duc Pro Audio deployed four flown main PA columns above the DJ booth, wherein the centre array (principal L-R array) comprises three T1215 cabinets paired with two SXCF118 subwoofers; while the left and right outhangs each consist of three T1215s. Additionally, four more delay columns have been suspended in front of the stage—each with two T1215s and a single T1230—ensure complete coverage. Eight additional T1215 units provide front fill, and low-end power is delivered via eight SXH218 subwoofers installed beneath the stage.

Club owner Mr. Chien, a renowned investor in Ho Chi Minh City’s nightlife circuit, was thoroughly impressed. Quang confirms, “As such, he will continue to trust Duc Pro Audio and Martin Audio in future projects.”
