AUSTRALIA: Rental specialists ResolutionX has expanded its Australian lighting hire fleet with additional Chauvet Ovation E-2 FC ellipsoidal fixtures, alongside a significant investment in Lycian 1295 ELT 3K/4K Xenon Followspots.

Commenting on the motivations behind the purchase of the Chauvet Ovation E-2 FC fixture, the company stated, “Designed for precision, flexibility, and outstanding colour performance, the Ovation E-2 FC delivers powerful output and exceptional control across a wide range of production environments. Fast setup, reliable performance, and everything you need to deliver exceptional results. We’re excited to announce the expansion of our Chauvet Ovation E-2 FC ellipsoidal stock, further strengthening the ResX lineup and giving our clients even greater access to versatile, high-performance lighting solutions”

The Chauvet Ovation E-2 FC is a compact LED ellipsoidal designed for precision colour control and flexible beam shaping. Its full-spectrum RGBA-Lime colour mixing system provides a broad colour palette, while tunable colour temperature from 2800K to 8000K, +/- green adjustment and emulated red-shift control enable detailed adjustment of colour output. A 25–50° zoom system provides beam-shaping flexibility, while Focus Mode supports rapid setup and on-site adjustments. The fixture also combines a compact design with quiet operation and LED-based performance for a range of production environments.

Alongside, ResolutionX expanded its hire offering with Lycian 1295 ELT 3K/4K Xenon Followspots, adding a fixture designed for large-scale followspot applications across arenas, theatres and major live events.

Offering insight on the investment rationale, the company explains, “Lycian has long been one of the world’s preferred names for large-scale follow spot applications. But when was the last time you saw a brand-new one come out of the box at an Australian lighting company? For us, this isn’t simply about adding another fixture to the warehouse. It’s about building a deeper, more versatile fleet that gives our clients greater choice and flexibility across their projects. The Lycian 1295 is a proven fixture for arenas, theatres and major live events, with 3K/4K Xenon output, smooth and precise operation, and the reliability needed for demanding applications. We’re excited to bring the 1295 into the ResX fleet, adding another high-performance followspot to our hire range.”
