GLOBAL: RCF Academy is expanding the value of its professional audio training programme by making selected RCF Academy Online courses eligible for AVIXA Renewal Units (RUs), allowing Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) professionals to develop their audio expertise while working towards renewal of their certification.

The CTS credential from AVIXA recognises professional knowledge and skills across the creation, implementation, support and servicing of audiovisual solutions. CTS holders maintain their certification through continuing education, earning Renewal Units during each three-year renewal cycle. As an AVIXA Renewal Unit Provider, RCF Academy can now offer eligible courses that contribute towards this requirement.

The RCF Academy Online Training Program covers the technologies and engineering principles underpinning professional sound systems, with courses spanning audio fundamentals, system design, line array technology, RDNet, measurement and optimisation, subwoofer configurations, amplification and system deployment.

Developed around real-world audio applications, the programme is designed to strengthen professionals’ understanding of system design, configuration and performance while providing the flexibility of online learning. For CTS-certified AV professionals, the selected courses also provide an opportunity to maintain their continuing education pathway through RUs while broadening their technical knowledge of professional audio.
