APAC: Disguise kicked off the second half of 2026 on a strong note, as it took its training and community programme across APAC, bringing hands-on learning, professional development and community engagement to users and industry professionals in Japan, the Philippines and Australia.

In Japan, Disguise hosted two X1 Fast Track workshop days at the office of NETGEAR Japan G.K., bringing together new and existing Disguise users alongside local partners to explore the capabilities of X1 through hands-on learning. The workshops focused on helping participants understand what can be achieved with the platform, while strengthening connections between Disguise, its users and the wider Japanese community.

The APAC Roadshow then moved to Manila, Philippines, where GLPS Co and Gateway OPC hosted a hands-on Designer Essentials Workshop. Participants explored ways to translate creative concepts into production-ready experiences using Disguise, combining practical learning with an opportunity to connect with other members of the local Disguise community.

In Melbourne, the programme combined technical training with community engagement. A two-day Disguise Designer Essentials Training session at the CVP Events, Film & TV office brought together local creatives and technical professionals to develop their Disguise skills and knowledge. The Melbourne programme also included a Community Meetup, providing Disguise users, industry professionals, the APAC team and newcomers with an informal setting to exchange ideas and discuss immersive visual experiences. The Melbourne programme also marked a milestone for CVP Events, Film & TV’s Darren Kowacki, who became a Disguise Certified Trainer, joining the company’s growing network of certified trainers in Australia.

Across the three markets, the programme combined structured training with opportunities for users and industry professionals to connect, share knowledge and build practical expertise around Disguise workflows.
