Spanning 220,000 sqm and featuring 2,227 exhibitors, the show delivered comprehensive full-chain coverage across multiple industry verticals, including live performance, smart digital entertainment, immersive cultural tourism, commercial displays and digital visual technology. The scale and diversity of the event once again underscored PLSG’s unrivalled industry influence and ability to unite the global entertainment technology ecosystem, while an extensive programme of fringe events showcased the latest technological innovations and stimulated meaningful industry dialogue. A strong lineup of leading domestic and international brands introduced cutting-edge products and integrated solutions designed for smart meetings, smart digital entertainment, smart education, smart offices, commercial displays, cultural tourism performances and system integration applications, highlighting the industry’s innovation pipeline and technological capabilities. Among the show’s major attractions, d&b audiotechnik made the China debut of its latest loudspeakers, showcasing immersive sound technologies designed to set new benchmarks for large-scale performances and cultural tourism projects. DSPPA, one of China’s leading public broadcasting and pro AV manufacturers, unveiled its Red Dot Award-winning wall-mounted speakers alongside a range of smart meeting and broadcasting solutions, drawing on years of expertise in intelligent acoustic design. Harman International once again maintained a significant presence on the show floor with a comprehensive portfolio of professional audio solutions aimed at the pro audio and system integration sectors. Meanwhile, newly listed company Thunderstone presented its integrated entertainment ecosystem spanning commercial, residential, automotive and mobile applications. In the lighting segment, leading brands including Fine Art, GOLDENSEA and Nightsun highlighted the convergence of stage lighting and cultural tourism systems. Through digital smart entertainment platforms and intelligent lighting control technologies, these companies demonstrated the growing synergy between lighting and technology while showcasing their independent R&D achievements and technological advancements. Elsewhere, companies such as Global Truss, HOF and Mode presented their latest developments in special effects, truss systems and hoist technologies. Within the LED display and audiovisual integration sectors, innovators including Hikvision, ITC, Qiangli Jucai and Skyworth showcased advanced display technologies and multipurpose screen solutions. With a focus on image quality, intelligent interactivity and seamless system integration, these technologies further strengthened the depth and breadth of the professional AV and lighting industry supply chain represented at the exhibition. Among the organised international delegations was a buyer group from South Korea coordinated by the Stage Sound Designer and Engineer Association of Korea, while Thai industry media outlet Overdrive also arranged a delegation to visit the exhibition and engage with exhibitors. PLSG continued its collaboration with the China – Arab States Stage Technician Training Course, which returned to the exhibition for a second consecutive visit to explore the latest global technologies and products. Major industry organisations, including the Industry Alliance of Pro-Sound, Light & Video and the China Association of Recording Engineers, also held member activities and sourcing engagements throughout the event as they explored solutions capable of addressing rapidly evolving market demands. Fringe Programme Drives Innovation, Talent Development and Industry Dialogue A comprehensive programme of concurrent events further reinforced the exhibition’s role as a key industry bellwether. Through keynote forums, technical exchange sessions and networking activities, the event brought together decision-makers, academics and industry visionaries, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across the global pro AV and lighting community. As part of the show’s emphasis on emerging technologies, the China Association of Recording Engineers hosted the IFTT 2026 ‘The Sound’ – Future Science and Technology Innovation Conference, focusing on future development trends and cutting-edge innovations in sound technology. The association also collaborated with the UHD World Association to establish the Vivid Immersive Park, promoting wider deployment of China’s Audio Vivid standard and supporting the international visibility of domestic innovation. The China Institute of Stage Design and the China Stage Art Educational Alliance jointly presented The First Exhibition of Stage Art Works from Chinese Higher Education Institutions, a large-scale showcase featuring more than 1,000 stage artworks created by students and educators from universities across China. The exhibition highlighted the creativity, talent and academic achievements of the next generation of stage professionals. Addressing industry workforce challenges, PLSG also launched its inaugural 2026 Guangzhou Audio, Lighting & Film / TV Industry Job Fair. The initiative connected companies with skilled professionals and emerging graduates through a dedicated recruitment platform aimed at helping bridge talent shortages across the sector. Artificial intelligence was another major focus area. For the first time, PLSG partnered with the Shanghai Municipal Association of Culture & Entertainment Industry to host the AI Driven Full – Stack Intelligence – Immersive Digital Light & Shadow Audio – Visual Tech and Industry Matchmaking Conference. Through scenario-based technical exchanges, participants explored the role of AI in enhancing entertainment experiences, particularly within the KTV and digital entertainment sectors. As the industry’s only trade platform featuring a dedicated KTV hall, PLSG once again reinforced its leadership position within this segment by facilitating discussions among key stakeholders and technology providers.
