Powersoft Expands OEM Technology Portfolio With MM-Force And Spixel

Powersoft has expanded its audio technology offering with the introduction of two new OEM-focused transducer solutions — MM-Force and Spixel.

The launch marks a significant step in Powersoft’s evolution from a company traditionally associated with high-performance amplification into a broader audio technology developer encompassing amplification, transducer innovation and software integration. With MM-Force and Spixel, the company aims to provide OEM partners with access to a more comprehensive technology ecosystem rather than standalone components.

MM-Force is a patented balanced moving magnet low-frequency driver available in 8-inch and 10-inch formats. Designed around an ultra-low-profile architecture measuring less than 80mm in depth, the driver targets applications where conventional subwoofer integration has traditionally been limited by space constraints.

The design incorporates a dual-coil configuration, a square carbon fibre reinforced polymer piston that maximises radiating area, and a balanced moving structure engineered to minimise vibration at the transducer level. According to Powersoft, the dynamic balancing of moving components allows even single-driver enclosures to operate without the mechanical vibration typically associated with high-output low-frequency reproduction, reducing the need for additional structural reinforcement or damping.

The driver’s compact profile and vibration-free operation make it suitable for fixed installations, portable touring systems and high-end automotive applications where space, weight and installation constraints often limit low-frequency system design.

Also making its debut is Spixel, a 2.5-inch full-range driver that extends the high motor strength principles developed through Powersoft’s IPAL technology into an ultra-compact format. Despite its size, the driver is capable of reaching a low-frequency limit of 100Hz, enabling integration with subwoofers at lower crossover points and simplifying overall loudspeaker system design.

A notable feature of Spixel is the integration of Powersoft’s AnyMATE technology, which provides onboard loudspeaker identification, real-time monitoring and visual diagnostics through an LED indicator incorporated into a translucent dustcap. The system enables manufacturers to add monitoring and serviceability functions without increasing system complexity, thanks to native AnyMATE/SpeakerMATE integration.

Together, MM-Force and Spixel reflect Powersoft’s growing focus on delivering end-to-end audio technologies spanning amplification, transducers and software platforms. By addressing long-standing challenges in loudspeaker design — from achieving meaningful low-frequency performance within shallow enclosures to enabling greater intelligence and diagnostics at the transducer level — the company is positioning itself as a broader technology partner for OEM manufacturers.

“With MM-Force and Spixel, our offering extends well beyond the amplifier rack,” says Luca Giorgi, Sales and Business Development Director at Powersoft. “Both solutions address genuine engineering challenges that loudspeaker designers have long had to work around, whether that is fitting meaningful low-frequency performance into a shallow install format, or gaining reliable intelligence from a transducer once it is deployed in the field. The fact that we can offer these technologies as part of an integrated ecosystem, alongside our amplification and software platforms, is what adds genuine value for our OEM partners.”
