HH Audio Powers Premium Nightlife Experiences Across Shanghai and Nanjing

CHINA: HH Audio continues to expand its presence across China’s nightlife and hospitality sector, with recent installations in Shanghai and Nanjing showcasing the brand’s growing adoption in venues demanding powerful performance, controlled coverage, and long-term operational reliability. Designed and delivered by Qixin Lighting and Audio, the two projects highlight how HH Audio’s Royal Series, Prince Series, and L2-Array systems are being deployed to meet the increasingly sophisticated expectations of modern entertainment spaces.

One of the latest installations can be found at MYST, a major hospitality and nightlife venue located in Shanghai’s bustling Songjiang District. Covering a total area of 5,000 square metres, with a towering 12-metre ceiling height and a 3,000-square-metre main hall, the venue required an audio solution capable of maintaining detailed and evenly distributed sound across a large-scale environment.

At the core of the system is HH Audio’s L2-Array passive line array loudspeaker, selected for its wide projection characteristics, precise sonic reproduction, and consistent coverage performance throughout the expansive venue. Supporting the main arrays are strategically positioned F1-Array constant curvature systems, deployed as infill loudspeakers to ensure seamless audio consistency across all audience areas.

Low-frequency reinforcement at MYST is delivered via a combination of Royal Series GSD subwoofers and Prince Series S28 dual 18-inch subwoofers. Designed for large-scale applications, both the Royal and Prince Series offer flexible deployment possibilities and can be interchanged depending on venue-specific operational requirements and performance goals.

Further west in Nanjing, HH Audio has also been specified at Area XII, one of the city’s prominent nightlife destinations known for its continuous calendar of DJ performances and live entertainment events. For the project, Qixin Lighting and Audio designed a system focused on achieving high output capability, controlled dispersion, and dependable performance across extended operating hours.

Guests entering Area XII are first welcomed by balanced background music delivered through Prince Series PS5 loudspeakers. Featuring a maximum SPL of 112dB peak alongside a 90° × 90° dispersion pattern, the PS5 systems provide smooth and consistent coverage throughout the lounge and seating areas while maintaining comfortable listening levels suited for conversation and social interaction.

Inside the venue’s main hall, Royal Series P3-Array 15-inch bi-amp point-source loudspeakers deliver line-array-style performance with uniform sonic coverage across the dance floor environment. Additional H12 and H15 point-source loudspeakers are strategically positioned throughout the venue to maintain consistent coverage, while the H15 systems additionally serve as stage monitors for DJs, providing accurate monitoring and playback performance.

Supporting the full-range systems are Prince Series S18 and S28 subwoofers, carefully tuned to deliver impactful yet controlled low-frequency reinforcement. The result is a punchy and immersive bass response designed to energise the venue without compromising clarity or overpowering the overall mix.

Together, the two projects underline HH Audio’s growing momentum within China’s premium nightlife and hospitality sector, where venues increasingly require scalable audio systems capable of delivering both high-energy performance and refined sonic control across diverse operational environments.
