One Systems Global Production Powers HIGHLIGHT’s Electrifying Bangkok Concert with L-Acoustics

Returning to the stage with renewed energy, the four members of HIGHLIGHT thrilled Thai fans on 20 September at Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana, delivering a night of music, emotion, and top-tier production. Following the success of last year’s sold-out 15th anniversary concert, the K-pop sensations made a triumphant comeback with their new mini album From Real to Surreal and its chart-topping track “Chains.”

A major talking point of the concert was its exceptional production quality — a visual and sonic spectacle where every element was designed to immerse fans in the group’s signature style. And the organisers entrusted One Systems Global Production (OSGP) to lead the technical design and commissioning of the event’s audio production.

After a detailed venue survey and careful consideration of the hall’s acoustics, stage layout, and the performance demands of each act, OSGP engineered a sound architecture that would integrate flawlessly with the show’s lighting and visual components.

At the heart of the system was an all-L-Acoustics setup, headlined by the formidable K2 line array modules, which were flown in stereo hangs as the main PA. The K2 delivered crisp, powerful sound with remarkable clarity, while KARA II modules served as front fills, ensuring those closest to the stage enjoyed the same immersive experience as those farther back. By pairing the K2 and KARA systems — both sharing L-Acoustics’ signature voicing characteristics — the OSGP team achieved consistent coverage and tonal balance across every seat in the house.

Low-end energy came courtesy of SB28 high-performance subwoofers, which delivered deep, resonant bass that filled the venue with cinematic impact. On stage, the artists enjoyed equally pristine sound reinforcement, with ARCS II modules paired with SB28 subs deployed as the high-performance sidefill reinforcement; while multiple 115XT HiQ monitors provided crisp, precise, high-power foldback. The entire system was driven by L-Acoustics’ efficient amplifiers, with a DiGiCo Quantum 7 digital mixing console at front of house giving engineers total control over every sonic detail.
