Adamson Amplifies Tamer Hosny’s Electrifying Performance at Bahrain’s Al Dana Amphitheater

BAHRAIN: The atmosphere inside the Beyon Al Dana Amphitheater at Exhibition World Bahrain this September was charged with energy as Egyptian megastar Tamer Hosny delivered a show-stopping performance that had fans on their feet. Every lyric and beat resonated flawlessly throughout the venue, powered by a pristine Adamson Systems Engineering sound system expertly deployed by Showtech Productions Bahrain.

Renowned for its precision, power, and clarity, the Adamson E-Series has long been a flagship large-format line array within the company’s portfolio, trusted by leading international touring productions and large-scale events around the world. Its ability to deliver exceptional sonic performance, coupled with reliability and efficiency, made it the perfect choice for Hosny’s high-impact concert at one of Bahrain’s most prominent open-air venues.

Producing an event for an artist of Tamer Hosny’s stature demands meticulous attention to detail, particularly when catering to a vast amphitheatre audience. The production team required a system capable of providing uniform coverage, consistent tonal balance, and effortless scalability — all while maintaining the clarity and warmth that define Adamson’s signature sound. The E-Series offered the ideal solution, with its quick-rigging design and efficient truck pack configuration also helping to streamline logistics and reduce transportation-related emissions — a notable plus for touring setups across the region.

To deliver uncompromising performance, the Showtech Productions team deployed a comprehensive Adamson sound system engineered for complete amphitheatre coverage. The primary PA featured dual hangs comprising 12 units of the E15 line array elements over 4 units of the SpekTrix elements per side, with the latter serving as downfills.

The precise alignment of the E15 elements and the SpekTrix elements allowed team Showtech to ensure smooth, consistent frequency response and even coverage throughout the vast audience section. Fans positioned closest to the stage experienced an equally dynamic listening experience thanks to a robust front-fill system consisting of 12 units of the Metrix elements (deployed in four stacks of three) and 7 SpekTrix elements, that guaranteed the same clarity and punch sustained across the rest of the audience area.

For low-frequency power, the system packed serious depth with E119 high-performance subwoofers flown in arrays of 9 units per side, perfectly complementing the main PA with deep, controlled bass that reached the farthest corners of the venue. Reinforcing this thunderous foundation, 18 ground-stacked T21 subwoofers extended the low-end range, delivering a full-bodied, resonant impact that added visceral energy to every track. The system was driven by multiple Lab Gruppen PLM 20K44 amplifiers and managed through Adamson E-Racks, ensuring seamless control and efficiency throughout the performance.

The result was a powerful, immersive soundscape that elevated Hosny’s vocals and instrumentals with exceptional clarity. The engineers were able to adapt effortlessly to the amphitheatre’s acoustics, maintaining pristine intelligibility and well-balanced low-end response that enveloped the audience without distortion.

From the first note to the final encore, every listener experienced the same enveloping energy that has become synonymous with Tamer Hosny’s performances. The combination of Adamson’s state-of-the-art audio technology and Showtech Productions’ expertise resulted in a show that was as technically outstanding as it was artistically thrilling.

The concert stood as a testament to the seamless blend of artistry and engineering — where Adamson’s innovation met Tamer Hosny’s star power to create an unforgettable live experience in the heart of Bahrain.
