THAILAND: Unilumin has unveiled a striking hospitality installation at the A-One Pattaya Hotel, where a large-scale creative LED display powered by the company’s MIP (Micro In Package) technology is transforming the venue’s public space into an immersive visual centrepiece.

The installation features a 28×1.5-metre circular irregular-shaped display integrating Unilumin’s UslimIII MIP and UHF MIP modules to create a giant aquarium-inspired visual experience within the hotel environment. Designed to engage both guests and passersby, the ring-shaped display turns the lobby into a dynamic visual landmark while reinforcing the venue’s architectural identity and overall guest experience.

At the core of the project is Unilumin’s advanced MIP technology, which delivers ultra-high colour consistency and high-contrast image reproduction. According to the company, each MIP pixel undergoes pixel-level mix binning to achieve over 99% colour uniformity while maintaining wide viewing angles without distortion. The display system also incorporates Unilumin’s patented EBL+ optical processing technology, designed to enhance black levels while delivering softer visuals and eye-friendly brightness characteristics.

The UslimIII MIP modules provide support for vivid colour reproduction alongside flexible customisation for creative screen configurations, while the UHF1.5 MIP modules enable the project’s seamless circular structure and complex curved geometry. Together, the technologies create an immersive visual canvas designed to maximise viewing consistency and visual comfort across the space.

Beyond its visual impact, the A-One Pattaya installation also demonstrates the growing flexibility of MIP-based LED systems within premium commercial and hospitality environments, particularly where conventional flat-screen formats are increasingly giving way to more architectural and experience-driven display concepts.
