SSL’s Certified Training Partner Program Builds Global Momentum

GLOBAL: Since its launch in May 2025, the SSL Certified Training Partner Program from Solid State Logic (SSL) has rapidly established itself as a significant bridge between audio education and industry practice, expanding to 36 training partners across 53 campuses worldwide. Led by Ashleigh Davies, Head of Educational Program and Services, the initiative already spans the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, USA, Australia, and Canada, with institutions including Collarts, SAE Madrid, and pointBlank music School among the early adopters.

At the heart of the program is the Complete Access Educational bundle, built around SSL and Slate Digital industry-favourite plug-ins, including the latest autoSeries plug-ins developed in partnership with sonible. These tools are supported by instructional mixing and production courseware from leading engineers and producers, which is provided as complimentary training content within participating educational curricula. Training partners are also investing in SSL hardware, reinforcing a direct connection between academic learning environments and the technologies widely used across professional studios and production facilities.

Students within the program benefit from live training sessions, access to products through exclusive educational discounts, and ongoing support beyond graduation via the Graduate Program, extending the learning pathway from formal education into early professional careers. SSL describes this structure as central to ensuring that emerging audio professionals are not only trained on industry-standard tools but remain connected to the wider professional ecosystem as they enter the workforce.

“Helping the next generation of musicians and audio creative professionals as they study is a key objective for all at SSL, as that is how many of our team started their own journeys,” says Nigel Beaumont, Managing Director at SSL. “By working with key educational partners, we aim to provide not just the tools and training required to be successful but give direct access to the many fulfilling careers where they can indulge their audio passion”.

The program has also drawn strong endorsement from educators and industry leaders.

Alex Searle, Dean of Music at BIMM Institute, says: “We are delighted to partner with SSL through their Training Partner Program. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to providing students with access to world-class technology and industry expertise. By integrating SSL’s innovative tools into our teaching, we are preparing graduates to lead the way in shaping the future of music and audio production.”

Brandon Egerton, Education Director for Audio Arts at Full Sail University, adds: “We are proud to partner with SSL as part of their Training Partner Program. This partnership reinforces our dedication to providing our students with hands-on access to world-class technology and industry knowledge. By embedding SSL’s cutting-edge tools into our teaching, we are equipping our students with the industry-standard tools to drive the future of music and audio production.”
