INDIA: CODA Audio’s rapid rise in India continues to gather pace as the brand moves from headline fixed installations to commanding some of the country’s biggest live events. With leading suppliers embracing its next generation technologies, CODA’s compact, lightweight systems have become a go-to option for rental companies seeking high power, pristine clarity, and logistical efficiency. Electrocraft – one of the most active adopters – has spent a packed season deploying CODA rigs across major shows and festivals, demonstrating the brand’s growing resonance in India’s live market.

This year’s eleven-day Navratri celebrations at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre drew crowds of around 10,000 people per day, with performances headlined by Falguni Pathak and her band. For the second consecutive year, a full CODA Audio system was chosen for the event, underlining the brand’s accelerating momentum. The CODA Audio VCA family — ViRAY, CiRAY, and flagship AiRAY — formed the backbone of the setup. Electrocraft deployed 10 x AiRAY per side as the main system, supported by 3 x APS per side for outfills, while 24 x SCP-F sensor-controlled subs delivered impressive low-end punch across the front. A complement of HOPS7-Pro handled front fills. Two delay systems were used: the first comprising 2 x AiRAY, 4 x CiRAY, and 1 x SCV-F per side; the second featuring 6 x ViRAY with 2 x SCV-F subs per side. With CODA’s consistent sonic signature across the range, audiences throughout the sprawling venue experienced the same high-quality sound from every position.

Electrocraft supplied a system combining AiRAY, CiRAY, SCP-F subs, and additional HOPS and APS fills, ensuring even coverage and punch while meeting a unique production requirement: the PA had to remain as discreet as possible to preserve sight lines and camera shots. CODA’s compact enclosures made them an ideal fit, delivering maximum output with minimal visual footprint.

Just days later, Spotify’s Rap 91 Live 2025 concert took over the same venue, celebrating India’s top and emerging hip-hop talent. Electrocraft again turned to CODA Audio to handle the genre’s demanding mix of heavy bass, fast transients, and clear vocal definition, with AiRAY and SCP-F doing the heavy lifting in terms of power, accuracy, and consistency.

Beyond the high-octane shows, CODA’s systems have also found a home in devotional and spiritual settings where intelligibility and warmth are essential. Events such as the ISHA Foundation’s annual gathering in Bengaluru and Paryushan 2025 relied on Electrocraft’s deployment of ultra-compact CODA setups that delivered clarity without disrupting the visual serenity of the spaces.
