GLOBAL: Optocore has appointed Tine Helmle as Managing Director, ushering in a new phase of leadership for the Munich-based fibre networking specialist as it looks to build on its established presence across the professional audio, broadcast and AV sectors.

Helmle assumes the role following more than three decades of Optocore’s growth in fibre-based signal transport technology. The company’s networking solutions are widely deployed in touring productions, theatres, broadcast facilities, stadiums, houses of worship, universities and permanent installations around the world.

The appointment follows the long-standing leadership of founder Marc Brunke, whose work played a pivotal role in establishing Optocore as a recognised provider of fibre-based networking solutions for professional applications.

According to the company, Helmle’s immediate focus will be on maintaining strong relationships with customers, distributors and technology partners while guiding the next stage of Optocore’s development. Rather than signalling a major strategic shift, the company said its direction will centre on continuity and measured growth.

The brand also confirmed that its collaboration with BroaMan will continue to form an integral part of its portfolio. Together, the two brands deliver fibre-based transport solutions for audio, video, data and intercom signals, supporting a broad range of applications across live events, broadcast and fixed installation environments.
