Based in Melbourne, McDonald joins LSC with extensive experience in software engineering, systems development and project management. Most recently, he was involved in systems engineering and product development at Australian satellite communications manufacturer Beam Communications. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at NEC Corporation, where he held a variety of software engineering and project management positions. The appointment comes as LSC continues to expand its research and development capabilities to support the next generation of lighting control technologies and strengthen its long-term product development strategy. “LSC has built its reputation over more than 45 years through innovative thinking, leading to the design of market-leading products.
