AUSTRALIA: LSC Control Systems has strengthened its research and development team with the appointment of Hugh McDonald as R&D Manager and Senior Software Engineer, reinforcing the Australian manufacturer’s continued investment in product innovation and software development.

Based in Melbourne, McDonald joins LSC with extensive experience in software engineering, systems development and project management. Most recently, he was involved in systems engineering and product development at Australian satellite communications manufacturer Beam Communications. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at NEC Corporation, where he held a variety of software engineering and project management positions.

The appointment comes as LSC continues to expand its research and development capabilities to support the next generation of lighting control technologies and strengthen its long-term product development strategy.
