PHILIPPINES: Earlier this year, Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) expanded the reach of its HOG lighting control platform in Southeast Asia with the official launch of the HOG console range in the Philippines, showcased during the ‘Meta Experience’ event organised by its local dealer, Meta-Tech Solutions and Systems Corp.

Designed as a hands-on technology showcase, the event brought together lighting designers, creative directors and other entertainment technology professionals working across theatre, live events and related applications, providing attendees with an opportunity to not just learn more about the HOG platform, but also experience the capabilities of the HOG in a live production environment.

The event featured the Stage HOG console at the heart of the lighting control workflow, driving a series of dynamic visual demonstrations that highlighted the flexibility, programming power and intuitive operation that have made the HOG family a recognised choice for lighting professionals worldwide. Alongside Stage HOG, the full range of HOG lighting consoles was showcased, allowing attendees to explore the different control solutions available for productions of varying scale and complexity.

The event also served as the official launch of the HOG console family within the Philippine market, reflecting ETC’s continued commitment in strengthening its presence across the APAC region through local dealer partnerships and hands-on engagement with the professional lighting community.

By combining live demonstrations with direct interaction between users and the technology, the Meta Experience provided visitors with valuable insight into the latest advancements in lighting control while reinforcing the growing availability of ETC’s Hog ecosystem for productions throughout the Philippines,  where MQ Group (MQ Lightings) serves as the brand’s official distributor.
