Yamaha Creates Refined Dining Atmosphere at Solo 4 Culinary Arts & Celestia Banquets Install Knowledge Hub Latest News by Elton - June 15, 2026 INDIA: In today’s hospitality landscape, creating a memorable guest experience extends far beyond cuisine and interior design. Carefully engineered sound has become an essential component in shaping ambience, enhancing comfort and elevating the overall dining environment. Recognising this, Solo 4 Culinary Arts & Celestia Banquets in India partnered with REEMOOZ FEC Pvt. Ltd., Raghav Technology and Yamaha Professional Audio to implement a tailored sound solution designed specifically for the demands of a modern hospitality venue. Combining contemporary architecture with a vibrant social atmosphere, Solo 4 required an audio system capable of delivering clear, consistent sound throughout the venue while remaining visually unobtrusive. The project was led by Rajkot-based Raghav Technology, with Acoustic & Sound Engineer Param Vachhani responsible for designing and implementing an audio environment that prioritised comfort, balance and exclusivity. As with many contemporary hospitality spaces, the venue presented a number of acoustic challenges. Extensive use of glass, polished surfaces and modern design materials created a highly reflective environment, increasing reverberation and potentially impacting speech intelligibility and overall listening comfort. The venue’s layout, incorporating multiple seating areas and open-plan spaces, further demanded uniform sound coverage without noticeable variations in volume or tonal balance. A key objective was to ensure that background music enhanced the atmosphere without interfering with conversation, a critical requirement in restaurant environments where guest interaction remains central to the overall experience. At the same time, the technology needed to integrate discreetly within the venue’s premium aesthetic. To meet these requirements, Yamaha Professional Audio implemented a distributed sound reinforcement design focused on coverage consistency, intelligibility and precise control. A network of Yamaha VXH6 pendant loudspeakers was strategically suspended throughout the venue, reducing the distance between loudspeakers and listeners while improving direct sound delivery. This approach minimised the impact of reflections and enabled clear, even audio distribution across all dining areas. Low-frequency reinforcement was provided by a Yamaha VXS10S subwoofer, delivering controlled bass performance designed to add warmth and depth to background music without overwhelming the acoustic environment. The system was powered by a Yamaha PX Series amplifier, providing efficient power management, reliable operation and the flexibility required for precise system optimisation. Custom tuning and equalisation were applied throughout the installation process to address the venue’s acoustic characteristics, reducing the effects of reverberation while maintaining a balanced and natural listening experience. Careful attention was also paid to the placement and integration of system components to ensure the audio infrastructure complemented, rather than distracted from, the venue’s architectural design. The completed installation has transformed the venue’s acoustic environment, providing consistent sound coverage across all dining zones, improved speech clarity and a more comfortable listening experience for guests. Background music now enhances the atmosphere while allowing conversations to remain effortless, regardless of occupancy levels or activity within the space. Reflecting on the project, representatives from the venue commented: “The audio system at Solo 4 has significantly enhanced the overall dining experience. The sound is clear, balanced, and seamlessly integrated into the space-it creates the perfect ambience without ever being overpowering. Whether the restaurant is busy or relaxed, the audio remains consistent and comfortable. The integration and execution were handled with great professionalism, perfectly complementing the design of our venue.” The Solo 4 project highlights the increasingly important role professional audio plays within modern hospitality environments. Through a combination of distributed loudspeaker design, careful acoustic optimisation and discreet system integration, Yamaha Professional Audio has delivered a solution that enhances ambience, supports guest interaction and aligns seamlessly with the expectations of contemporary dining and event venues.
