DiGiCo Unveils Quantum225 DS Ennovations Knowledge Hub Latest by Elton - April 6, 2026April 6, 2026 DiGiCo has introduced the Quantum225 DS, a significant evolution of its widely adopted Quantum225 platform, designed to meet the demands of fast-paced live production environments with enhanced control, expanded processing, and greater operational efficiency. Over the past five years, the Quantum225 has established itself as a versatile and cost-effective solution across live music venues, tours, festivals, theatres, and houses of worship. With the launch of the Quantum225 DS, DiGiCo builds on that foundation, delivering a compact yet robust worksurface tailored for modern workflows. A defining upgrade comes in the form of dual integrated displays. While the standard Quantum225 accommodates an external screen via its left-panel bracket, the Quantum225 DS is equipped with two 17-inch, full-colour, daylight-bright TFT multitouch screens, offering users significantly enhanced visibility, faster navigation, and more immediate access to critical mix parameters. Processing capabilities are further extended with DiGiCo’s optional Pulse software package, which increases the console’s input channel count from 72 to 96 and buss count from 36 to 48, while also expanding Mustard and Nodal Processor capacities to 36 and 48 respectively. The inclusion of Mix Minus within the Pulse feature set adds further flexibility, while the optional T software package introduces additional theatre-specific functionality for more specialised applications. Importantly, DiGiCo is also offering an upgrade path for existing Quantum225 users, enabling them to retrofit their consoles to Quantum225 DS specifications—extending both performance and long-term return on investment. “Paying heed to the adage ‘give the people what they want,’ we’re now honouring the many requests we’ve heard to offer a dual-screen version of our compact Quantum225—and we have evolved it for maximum performance,” says DiGiCo Managing Director Austin Freshwater. “For our customers who already own a Q225, we’re also offering a hardware upgrade solution that will allow them to bring their desks up to the Quantum225 DS spec, extending the capabilities and ROI of their existing inventories. As always, purchasing a DiGiCo once again proves to be a smart investment indeed.” Built for high-pressure production scenarios, the Quantum225 DS integrates 41 mini TFT displays across its surface, delivering detailed visual feedback and streamlined interaction. Connectivity is equally comprehensive, featuring a 12×12 Matrix, four MADI ports, dual DMI ports, 8×8 analogue and four AES channels for local I/O, alongside built-in UB MADI, optional optics, Fourier Audio compatibility, and Waves SoundGrid integration. Dual power supplies further reinforce reliability in critical live environments. Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share Share on Digg Share
