Claypaky Marks 50 Years with a High-Voltage Showcase at LDI 2025 Ennovations Knowledge Hub Latest by Elton - December 4, 2025 Claypaky returns to LDI 2025 with commanding presence, partnering with Inner Circle Distribution to welcome global visitors to what remains the world’s leading exhibition for professional show lighting. This year carries added significance as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary, and the milestone sets the tone for a showcase that blends heritage with forward-looking innovation. Across the show floor, attendees can expect a steady rhythm of hourly Product Presentation Demos and Lighting Shows, culminating in a dedicated 50th Anniversary Booth Party on Sunday, 7 December. In true Claypaky fashion, the spotlight falls on several major launches, headlined by the world premieres of the Arolla Aqua M-LT and Arolla Aqua S-LT. The Arolla Aqua M-LT arrives as a long-throw, outdoor-ready powerhouse designed for lighting designers, rental companies, and broadcasters seeking uncompromised performance in a compact, lightweight chassis. Its custom 550W calibrated white LED engine (6500K) delivers 28,000 lumens, driving exceptional brightness through a precise optical system built around a 6.3 in (160 mm) front lens. A wide 3.8°–52° zoom ensures everything from needle-thin aerials to broad washes, while a centre-peaked hotspot maintains crisp gobo projection and high-impact mid-air effects over long distances. Alongside it, the ultra-compact Arolla Aqua S-LT, also making its global debut, brings IP66 protection, a mere 57.1 lbs (25.9 kg) weight, and 21,000 lumens of calibrated output to festivals, permanent installs, outdoor productions, and studio environments. Its custom 350W cold white LED engine (6500K), 5.5 in (140 mm) front lens, and 3.8°–52° (13:1) linear zoom produce a refined, centre-peaked hotspot that ensures sharp gobos and consistent beam quality whether used for arena side-keys, long-throw projection, or immersive aerial work. Designed for easy lifting, fast rigging and reduced transport and storage overheads, it speaks directly to the needs of modern production houses. LDI 2025 also marks the first US showcase for two further additions to the Arolla Aqua family. The Arolla Aqua HP, the most powerful fixture in the series, pushes past 60,000 lumens from a custom 1400W white LED engine, offering exceptional brightness and creative headroom. A rugged weather-resistant design reinforces its suitability for touring and demanding environments, while an 8.6 in (220 mm) front lens and a 3.6°–55° zoom range allow smooth transitions from tight beams to expansive washes, supporting everything from key lighting to sweeping aerial looks. The Arolla Aqua LT, also appearing at LDI for the first time, brings over 40,000 lumens from its custom 900W white LED source, delivering high-precision, consistent output through a centre-weighted peaked beam. Its IP66-rated enclosure and long-throw optimisation make it a compelling tool for designers seeking accuracy at distance. Claypaky also highlights the Arolla Aqua LT FS (code CL3041), an external digital camera variant ready for followspot applications, allowing remote fixture control for streamlined operation. Rounding out the lineup is the Ultimo Sharpy, presented for the first time at LDI and redefining what a compact beam fixture can be. Building on the legacy of the iconic Sharpy, this next-generation IP66 moving head features a custom 250W OSRAM HID lamp designed for maximum output and enhanced sustainability. With razor-sharp beams, rapid movement, and an impressive power-to-size ratio, it is engineered for versatility across indoor and outdoor settings, from concerts and festivals to broadcast environments.
