Laserworld Unveils the Groundbreaking tarm VANQUISH

The Laserworld Group unveiled its latest innovation, the tarm VANQUISH, during an exclusive Open House event held on 10th October 2025 at Monopol in Berlin. Marking a significant leap in laser-based lighting technology, the tarm VANQUISH introduces a 500W RGB Direct Diode Laser Engine that achieves an extraordinary illuminance of 2.4 million lux at a 20-metre distance.

Martin Werner, CEO of tarm AG, officially announced the market launch of the fixture, highlighting that the new engine was co-developed by tarm and LaserAnimation Sollinger. At its core lies a revolutionary hybrid optical system that redefines the boundaries of optical performance in the moving head sector. With its efficient optics and powerful RGB laser source, the tarm VANQUISH surpasses existing standards for intensity and colour precision, delivering up to 16.5 million colour hues without the need for conventional colour wheels or CTO filters.

Engineered for versatility, the fixture offers a broad zoom range — from an ultra-narrow 0.29° beam for precision effects to a wide 45° angle suitable for wash applications. It is equipped with 25 static and 12 rotating gobos with gobo-shake functionality, alongside two prism wheels featuring three radial and four linear prisms. The prisms are bi-directionally rotatable, stackable, and supported by three integrated frost filters, offering designers a wide spectrum of creative effects.

For dynamic performance environments, the tarm VANQUISH supports fast, unlimited PAN rotation and 270° TILT movement, with control options via DMX512, Art-Net, RDM, sACN, and W-DMX. The fixture’s Magnalium housing and IP66 rating provide robust protection for both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring durability across touring conditions and permanent installations.

Adding to its appeal, the tarm VANQUISH holds a Laser Class 1 – RG 3 rating, enabling it to be operated safely as a conventional moving head without additional laser show precautions. With first deliveries scheduled for January 2026, the tarm VANQUISH is set to make a strong entrance into the professional lighting market, pushing the limits of laser-based moving head technology.
