GER: ETC At Stage|Set|Scenery 2017

Following its successful launch in 2015, Stage|Set|Scenery, the international trade fair and conference for theatre, film and entertainment technology, is set to take place for the second time. From June 20 – 22, 2017 at Messe Berlin, as in the case of the first fair two years ago, ETC is exhibiting on two distinct stands.

The new Gio @5 console.

Stand 301, Hall 21 is dedicated to the latest products from ETC’s Rigging division; while on Stand 340, Hall 20, ETC is presenting a selection of lighting gear, including the ColorSource family and the new Gio @5 console. ETC is also participating in the LightLab programme and Safety in Action stage as a sponsor and discussion partner.

Stand 301 | Hall 21
ETC Rigging offers a range of cost-effective hoists and controls for a variety of applications. Among the products on display is the user-friendly QuickTouch series, which provides simple yet intelligent system control for smaller venues. QuickTouch is characterised by simple operation, the display of load bar position and weight, and the ability to store up to five user-specific trim positions.

The Prodigy P2 hoist.

Also on Stand 301, ETC presents the compact Prodigy P2 hoist – which offers a travel distance of 15 metres with up to eight lift lines using 5mm lift wire rope – and Vortek hoists, suitable for larger loads and perfect for lifting applications requiring a fully mechanical fail-safe secondary brake design.

Stand 340 | Hall 20
This space is reserved for a selection of ETC’s lighting products, including luminaires, consoles and power control solutions. Visitors can explore the capabilities of the popular Source Four LED Series 2 fixtures and members of the ColorSource family, including ColorSource and ColorSource AV consoles; ColorSource Spot, PAR and Linear fixtures; as well as ColorSource Relay and ThruPower control solutions. Also on display is the recently introduced Gio @5 console and the latest innovations from the Unison Echo and Paradigm lines of architectural lighting controls.

The Light Lab and Safety in Action stage
ETC is also playing a part in the 200 sq m LightLab in Hall 20, a forum for visitors to discuss the latest lighting topics and gain practical information on everyday professional use from workshops, round tables, and live product demonstrations. Additionally, ETC’s Hall 20 booth will be a stop on a series of guided tours designed to provide discussion and demo opportunities on the stands of selected lighting manufacturers.

Meanwhile, Michael Lichter, ETC’s senior technical product manager for stage machinery control systems, is contributing to the seminar and discussion programme, covering the topics of system integration and stage safety.
