Arxiduc Audio Becomes First Company in Japan to Introduce DiGiCo’s Flagship Quantum 852 Console

JAPAN: Arxiduc Audio Co. has become the first company in Japan to introduce DiGiCo’s flagship Quantum 852 console, marking a significant milestone both for the Tokyo-based sound reinforcement specialist and for the Japanese live production market. The acquisition further strengthens the company’s growing investment in DiGiCo’s Quantum ecosystem, expanding its capabilities for high-end touring, live entertainment, and large-scale production applications across the region.

Established in Japan in 2013, Arxiduc Audio Co. operates globally alongside its South East Asian subsidiary, Arxiduc Asia Co., which also manages DiGiCo Systems deployments throughout the region. The company first entered the DiGiCo Quantum ecosystem with the purchase of a Quantum 338 in September 2020, later expanding its inventory with a Quantum 225 as project requirements continued to evolve. With the addition of the Quantum 852, Arxiduc Audio now operates a significantly broader Quantum-centred infrastructure designed to accommodate increasingly sophisticated production demands.

The Quantum 852 currently stands as DiGiCo’s largest and most advanced console platform, offering expanded processing power, high channel counts, and an extensive control surface tailored for complex live productions. For Arxiduc Audio CEO Hirohide Kobayashi, the investment reflects the company’s long-standing philosophy of balancing technical performance with application-specific flexibility and client-focused system design.

“When selecting equipment to meet the needs of demanding high-end live performance, Arxiduc Audio CEO Hirohide Kobayashi places the utmost importance on not only performance and technology, but also on the specific challenges of each customer’s application,” the company explained, highlighting an operational approach built around delivering stable and adaptable solutions across diverse venue environments.

“The adoption of the DiGiCo Quantum range is a direct extension of this thinking,” explains Kobayashi. “By combining the highly reliable DiGiCo platform with scalability and intuitive operation alongside the expertise of our staff, we at Arxiduc Audio ensure consistently high-quality service.”

The Quantum 852 platform offers a substantial increase in processing flexibility and operational scalability, incorporating features such as Mustard Processing and Spice Rack onboard processing tools, alongside support for two DMI slots per engine and optional dual Optocore loop configurations. The system’s modular expansion possibilities were key factors in its selection, allowing the company to further scale its operations as production requirements continue to evolve.

Arxiduc Audio has also positioned itself as an early adopter of immersive audio monitoring workflows through the integration of KLANG systems into its operational ecosystem. Engineers within the company have been actively deploying KLANG immersive in-ear monitoring solutions to create more natural and less fatiguing monitoring environments for performers, helping improve on-stage performance experiences during complex live productions.

Coinciding with the introduction of the Quantum 852, the company has additionally implemented the Fourier transform.engine platform, further expanding its software-based processing flexibility while enabling faster responses to increasingly sophisticated sound design and sonic quality demands from the market.

“The introduction of the Quantum 852 marks both a milestone and a new beginning for Arxiduc Audio,” concludes Kobayashi. “By pursuing a synergy between cutting-edge technology and the human expertise required to maximise it, the company intends to deepen its relationships with engineers, production companies, and partner firms worldwide. As a leading DiGiCo user, Arxiduc Audio continues to strive for further service excellence and business expansion.”
