Van Damme has expanded its Tourcat Hybrid Multicore range with the introduction of the Tourcat Hybrid 1 x Cat 6A / 1 x 3×2.5mm Power and Data Multicore, addressing the growing demand for integrated data and power solutions in applications such as LED wall deployments.

Designed as a single-cable solution, the new multicore combines a Cat 6A foil-screened data element with a 2.5mm² jacketed power cable, enabling simultaneous high-bandwidth data transmission and power delivery within a unified, tour-grade construction. The approach eliminates the need for separate cable runs, offering a more efficient and streamlined workflow for live event and installation environments.

Built to meet the rigours of touring applications, the cable has been engineered with a strong emphasis on flexibility and compactness. With an overall diameter of just 17.2mm and a bend radius of 15 times the cable diameter, the design ensures practical handling and ease of deployment in real-world scenarios where space and speed are critical.

Technically, the Cat 6A element delivers high-speed data performance through ultra-pure oxygen-free copper conductors, combined with a skin-foam-skin polyethylene dielectric and an aluminium/polyester foil screen with coverage exceeding 115%. This ensures robust signal integrity and reliable data transmission across demanding setups. The integrated power element is a 3×2.5mm² HO5VV-F compliant cable, rated at 20A, aligning with established harmonised standards for safety and performance.
