Van Damme has expanded its digital video portfolio with the introduction of new Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz coaxial cables.

Engineered to support the latest SMPTE ST 2082 12G-SDI single-link transmission, the new range ensures uncompromising signal integrity for demanding UHD and 4K/8K video workflows. With enhanced performance and extended transmission distances, these coaxials are designed for reliability in both fixed installations and live production environments.

The new products include the 75 Ohm Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz RG6 LSZH (278-875-006), the 75 Ohm Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz RG11 (268-875-011), the 75 Ohm Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz RG6 (268-875-006), and the 75 Ohm Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz 0.7/2.9 coax (268-075-006).

With calculated transmission distances of up to 227 metres at 6Gb/s and 105 metres at 12Gb/s (RG11 model), the range provides system designers and engineers with flexible options to meet the evolving needs of UHD broadcast. Even the compact 0.7/2.9 model delivers reliable 12Gb/s performance over 45 metres.
