Shenzhen Gets the ADAPTive Edge Install Knowledge Hub Latest by Elton - August 28, 2025August 28, 2025 EZPro Delivers Game-Ready EAW System for Shenzhen Sports Center Ahead of the 2025 National Games, Shenzhen Sports Center has undergone a major audio transformation with the installation of a state-of-the-art Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) ADAPTive system, designed and integrated by pro AV specialists EZPro. The newly renovated venue required a solution capable of maintaining consistent intelligibility across all audience zones, despite the acoustic challenges posed by the vast LED display and the venue’s glass retractable roof. And after considerable deliberation, the design and integration team found EAW’s revolution ADAPTive sound technology to be the perfect fit. Shenzhen Sports Centre’s new sound architecture spotlights a total of 76 units of the EAW Anna 3-way full-range ADAPTive line array modules, perfectly complemented by a total of 18 suspended units of the Otto – the world’s first ADAPTive subwoofers – that deliver thunderously impactful low-frequency fidelity. The Otto subwoofers have been flown in two dedicated hangs of nine units each, positioned on opposite ends of the playing court to deliver symmetrical, high-impact low-frequency reinforcement. And flanking each Otto hang, the Anna line array modules have been distributed in carefully calculated hangs for even coverage. The symmetrical yet adaptive deployment configuration of the Anna modules and Otto subs provide comprehensive horizontal and vertical coverage across the bowl-shaped seating tiers, ensuring clarity and power even in acoustically complex zones This symmetrical yet adaptive configuration provides comprehensive horizontal and vertical coverage across the bowl-shaped seating tiers, ensuring clarity and power even in acoustically complex zones; as 4 units of the QX364 two-way trapezoidal enclosures and 8 units of the RS121 two-way self-powered loudspeakers round off the system while providing additional reinforcement. Using EAW’s Resolution software, EZPro was able to model, simulate and precisely fine-tune the deployment to overcome persistent reflections and achieve clarity throughout the arena. EAW’s ADAPTive technology provided the flexibility to dynamically adjust coverage in real time, ensuring seamless performance across a variety of event formats. The result is a scalable, highly calibrated, rider-ready system that positions Shenzhen Sports Center at the forefront of sports and entertainment venue technology, ready to deliver world-class immersive sound experiences for a variety of high-energy events that goes well-above and beyond the National Games.
