A landmark L-Acoustics installation by Gracia Auvindo helps Southeast Asia’s boldest new nightclub – NOYA X 80 PROOF – deliver club sound on a festival scale.

When Jakarta’s newest superclub, NOYA X 80 PROOF, opened its doors in the upscale Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK2) district, it wasn’t just launching a nightlife venue — it was making a statement. With a formidable L-Acoustics K2 system at its heart, the 1,500-capacity club is redefining expectations for club sound in Southeast Asia.

Deployed by L-Acoustics Certified Partner Gracia Auvindo, the system marks the most ambitious entertainment installation in Jakarta’s recent memory — part of a multi-billion-dollar lifestyle precinct dubbed ‘The New Jakarta City’. Located just 30 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and with a panoramic oceanfront backdrop, NOYA X 80 PROOF is aiming straight for global recognition. Spanning 2,000 square meters in PIK2’s sprawling 6,000-hectare development project; the club is open seven nights a week, as it offers a curated entertainment experience featuring top local talent alongside world-touring DJs in an environment where audio fidelity was prioritized from the earliest design stages.

“The NOYA team recognized that having L-Acoustics would position them as an elite nightlife destination,” informs Hendra Halim, Project Manager and Systems Engineer at Gracia Auvindo, as he shares that the club’s management specifically requested L-Acoustics K2 after experiencing its signature sound at Belgium’s world-renowned Tomorrowland EDM festival. He further eludes to the fact that for NOYA X 80 PROOF, integrating concert-level sound quality wasn’t merely a technical consideration—it was a core brand differentiator in Jakarta’s competitive nightclub market. “The K2 festival-grade sound quality and high-performance capabilities will undoubtedly establish NOYA as one of the best-sounding nightclubs in Southeast Asia!” he exclaims.

With over 1,000 integrated lighting devices and extensive LED walls dominating the club’s design, audio coverage had to be surgical. L-Acoustics Soundvision 3D modelling played a central role in coordinating the audio integration with structural, mechanical, and interior teams. “Soundvision was invaluable in coordinating with structural and mechanical engineers, as well as the interior design team. We created a precise audio system design that included key data such as mechanics and speaker weights, their optimal positions, and coverage angles” explains Halim.

The main L/R arrays feature 9 units of the K2 per side, with 16 units of the KS28 subs under the stage to power the low end. Out-fill reinforcement is delivered through two hangs of two A15 Focus and one A15 Wide per side, supplemented by two KS21 subs per side for enhanced low-frequency extension. Eight A10 Focus units deliver precise front-fill reinforcement, ensuring the experience is even for those patrons located at the front row; while on-stage, performers are treated to two ARCS II monitors and two KS21 subs, delivering pristine high-impact eference sound.

The system’s performance has already made waves. During NOYA’s grand opening weekend in April, headline act Timmy Trumpet called it “one of the top five clubs in the world.” With such a debut and a system capable of delivering festival-level energy every night of the week, that claim might not be far off.
