ST Audio Empowers SHENG Live Show with EM Acoustics & XTA

ST Audio Augments New Audio System at Ganzhou Entertainment Centre with XTA Amplification and EM Acoustics Loudspeakers

SHENG Live Show  is a large multi-use entertainment venue in the Chinese city of Ganzhou. Presenting a wide range of DJ Sets and live performances, the venue is the second project by the SHENG Live Show brand, who approached supplier ST Audio to consult over a complete audio package. This was to include a system design, supporting the local integrator’s team, tuning and after sales support.

Since its establishment in 2012 ST Audio has operated as a distributor for mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao, partnering with five leading international brands to deliver premium professional audio solutions to the market. These comprise amplifier manufacturers XTA and MC² and loudspeaker manufacturer EM Acoustics from the UK, loudspeaker manufacturer Radian Audio from the USA, and Australian pro audio manufacturer ARX.  ST Audio specialises in supplying comprehensive solutions on any scale for live music venues, theatres, clubs, conference centres, and hospitality venues.

Having assessed SHENG Live’s requirements, Xian Shengtao, founder of ST Audio, recommended an EM Acoustics system which combined elements of line array (8 units of the HALO-A, 4 units of the HALO-B), point source (6 units of the i-C15, 8 units of the EMS-81X, 8 units of the EMS-159) and subwoofers (8 units of the EMS-218 and 12 units of the EMS-118). A total of 54 units of the EM Acoustics loudspeakers were deployed throughout the venue.

ST Audio recommended XTA processing and amplification to drive the system, as Xian informs; “I started using XTA products way back in 1999 and was first involved in distributing XTA and MC² as long ago as 2006 – a partnership which has continued through ST Audio. XTA power amplifiers deliver high quality sound that is rich, accurate, and stable, and is supported by reliable after-sales support. This combination ensures a hassle-free experience for users, making them a trusted choice for so many projects.”

The SHENG Live system benefits from 10 units of the XTA digital audio network amplifiers, including 3 units of the DNA100 (4 units of the 3700W into 2.7R) and 7 units of the DNA120 (2 units of the 6250W into 2.7R) units. 4 units of the XTA audio management units (2 units of the DP448, 2 units of the DP548) complete the picture.

Xian Shengtao continues “The combination of EM Acoustics loudspeakers and XTA amplification is fantastic. This successful collaboration with SHENG Live show led to another project in the city of Zhumadian in Henan Province. We look forward to building an even deeper and broader partnership in the future and remain committed to working closely with our partner brands like XTA to deliver more premium products and enhanced services to our customers throughout China.”

In conclusion, Richard Fleming of XTA added; “ST Audio are carrying out great work in China as evidenced by this completed project leading directly to another with the same client. Their experience and customer support aligns perfectly with clients’ real-world needs, and their proactive support for their exclusive brands is exceptional. We’re very proud of the fact that our products continue to flourish in the Chinese market thanks to ST Audio’s excellent work on our behalf.”
