CHINA: Martin Audio has strengthened its presence in China’s rapidly evolving enterprise AV sector with the appointment of Shanghai Univision (You Shi Wei Xin) as a new distribution partner. The move expands the British loudspeaker manufacturer’s channel network in the country and is aimed at enhancing support for consultants, system integrators and end users operating across the corporate, education and government markets.

Joining existing distribution partners Sino Huifeng and Guangzhou Guidance, Shanghai Univision will focus on delivering specialist expertise for integrated AV projects, providing application-driven system design support and deployment assistance tailored to the requirements of enterprise installations.

Under the new agreement, Shanghai Univision has been appointed the sole distributor in China for Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision WPS series, TORUS 820 constant curvature array and O-Line modular micro line array. These product families have been specifically selected to address the needs of corporate environments, educational facilities, government projects and other large-scale integrated applications where performance, flexibility and discreet deployment are key considerations.

The partnership further strengthens Martin Audio’s strategy of expanding its presence beyond the live event sector and into a growing range of installed sound applications across China. The partnership was formally introduced to the market during a recent customer event in Beijing, where more than 100 consultants, system integrators and dealers were presented with Martin Audio’s latest solutions. The collaboration was also showcased at Pro Light & Sound Guangzhou, where Shanghai Univision featured Martin Audio products on its exhibition stand.
