Christie has introduced VividLife, a new end-to-end processing and control platform developed to support its MicroTiles LED portfolio, bringing hardware architecture, image processing, calibration and system management together within a single, tightly integrated solution. The platform is positioned for high-performance LED display applications where visual consistency, operational reliability and precise control are critical.

Engineered to deliver consistent and accurate image reproduction across a wide range of brightness levels, VividLife maintains stable grayscale performance and smooth colour transitions in both low-light and high-brightness environments. This characteristic is particularly relevant for simulation, control room and immersive installations, where visual artefacts can become more noticeable as brightness levels are reduced and image integrity is under closer scrutiny.

From a performance standpoint, the platform supports 4K resolution at refresh rates of up to 120Hz, combined with 24-bit colour processing and HDR10 compliance to handle high dynamic range content with greater depth and realism. Low-latency operation is designed to meet the demands of real-time and mission-critical applications, ensuring that processing does not become a bottleneck in time-sensitive environments.

Calibration and system management are central to the VividLife workflow. Factory-based pixel-level calibration delivers edge-to-edge colour accuracy and image uniformity, significantly reducing the extent of onsite calibration typically required during installation, while still allowing for minor adjustments where necessary. Ongoing monitoring and control are managed via a web-based interface that provides real-time visibility into display performance, alongside pixel-level diagnostics that allow potential issues to be identified and addressed before they impact the visual experience.
