Adamson Delivers Concert-Hall Clarity Inside Award-Winning Raj Sabhagruh Auditorium Install Knowledge Hub Latest News by Elton - December 23, 2025December 23, 2025 INDIA: Achieving pristine speech intelligibility and immersive sound across a 5,000-seat spiritual auditorium is no small feat, particularly when architecture itself becomes the primary acoustic challenge. At the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission’s Raj Sabhagruh, recently honoured with the Dezeen Award 2025 for Civic Project of the Year, a meticulously designed Adamson sound system has emerged as a key technical pillar of the venue, implemented with technical support from StageMix Technologies. The Raj Sabhagruh’s cylindrical form, inverted lotus ceiling and expansive seating capacity demanded an audio solution capable of delivering uniform coverage and exceptional clarity within a highly constrained architectural environment. To meet these requirements, an L C R Adamson E Series system was deployed within extremely tight proscenium spaces, where both physical limitations and acoustic precision were critical considerations. Low-frequency control was addressed through flown Adamson E219 subwoofers configured in a cardioid front-back-front arrangement, a strategy designed to minimise bass spill onto the stage while maintaining clean, controlled low-end energy throughout the audience area. With limited vertical space restricting array length, Adamson IS10P point source loudspeakers were introduced to supplement bottom coverage, ensuring seamless front-fill performance without compromising the system’s overall geometry. This carefully considered deployment achieved consistent tonal balance and powerful intelligibility across all 5,000 seats, supporting the venue’s daily discourses, meditation sessions and large-scale spiritual gatherings with equal effectiveness. The installed system comprises three hangs of Adamson E12 line arrays with nine cabinets per hang, four cardioid-configured E219 subwoofer arrays with three subwoofers per hang, and four IS10P point-source loudspeakers dedicated to bottom coverage. Acoustic design and supervision for the project were led by Munro Acoustics under renowned acoustician Andy Munro, who commented, “The Raj Sabhagruh demanded precision. The Adamson system’s clarity and control made it possible to achieve concert hall level results within a challenging architectural space.” On-ground AV integration was managed by Innovative Systems and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (ISSPL), which played a critical role in translating the acoustic design into a fully realised technical solution. Led by CTO Bhavin Sureliya, ISSPL handled system installation, networking, signal flow management and close coordination between architectural, acoustic and technical teams, ensuring the Adamson system performed flawlessly within the architecturally constrained proscenium and throughout the auditorium. For StageMix Technologies, the project represents a convergence of architectural ambition, acoustic science and advanced loudspeaker technology. As the official distribution partners of Adamson in India, the company acknowledged the collective achievement, congratulating Shrimad Rajchandra Mission and all project partners on the Raj Sabhagruh receiving the Dezeen Award 2025 Civic Project of the Year, and reaffirming its commitment to supporting visionary projects that redefine excellence in sound and space.
