Unilumin Expands Global Footprint with Major Milestones in Tokyo, Singapore, and Strategic Tie-Up with Barco

ASIA PACIFIC: In a strategic push to deepen its global presence while responding to local market needs, Unilumin has unveiled three key initiatives that underscore its growing influence across the Asia-Pacific region. From its newly launched showroom and service centre in Tokyo, to a landmark deployment at Singapore Sports Hub, and the renewal of a powerful alliance with Barco, Unilumin continues to strengthen its role as a global leader in advanced LED display solutions.

The recent launch of Unilumin’s Tokyo showroom and service centre marks a critical milestone in the company’s ongoing 2025 localisation strategy. Japan has long been one of Unilumin’s most strategic markets, and the new facility is designed not only to showcase cutting-edge LED technology, but also to bring tailored services closer to local customers. While over 1,800 square metres of Unilumin’s LED solutions enchants Expo Osaka 2025 with visual vibrancy; the Tokyo base further reinforces the brand’s regional footprint.

In an increasingly fragmented LED market, Unilumin is positioning itself as a multi-brand ecosystem—offering targeted solutions for industries spanning broadcast, retail, sports, cultural tourism, and more. And equipped with a strong local team and supported by a high-touch service model, the Tokyo showroom offers technical support, creative consulting, and immersive product demonstrations. “We’re not just selling screens,” said Yang Fan, OEM/ODM Corporation Director of the Global Key Account Department. “We’re empowering our clients with integrated digital experiences—from visual design to smart control systems. It’s about understanding what each market truly needs, and delivering beyond expectation.”

The opening ceremony saw wide support from Japanese customers and industry peers, with Laurence Liu, Unilumin’s Senior Leadership Representative, and Zhang Jingjing, General Manager of Unilumin Japan, expressing their gratitude to the local community. The event underscored the brand’s broader ambition to co-build 1,000 experience centres worldwide within the next three years—a goal fuelled by Unilumin’s global network of 20+ subsidiaries and operations across 160+ countries.

Meanwhile in Singapore, Unilumin announced a partnership with Kallang Alive Sport Management, which will see its LED display solutions deployed across multiple locations in the Singapore Sports Hub. With a view to leverage Unilumin’s customisable professional sports solutions that not only meet the specific requirements of different venues and sports disciplines, but also provide organisers with efficient, flexible tools for content dissemination – high-definition, high-brightness, and stable LED displays are being installed in both indoor and outdoor locations including OCBC Square, the front desks at Gate 6 and 18, and the 100PLUS Promenade. These installations will support real-time event information, safety messaging, and intuitive wayfinding, contributing to a more seamless and dynamic visitor experience.

And further cementing its innovation-driven momentum, Unilumin celebrated another landmark development as the brand jointly announced the deepening of their strategic cooperation with Barco. The partnership, which was officially celebrated at InfoComm 2025 at the Unilumin booth on 11 June; builds on years of successful global collaboration and further reinforces a unified commitment to innovation, excellence, and sustainability in visual display solutions. By combining Unilumin’s latest high-performance LED display technologies with Barco’s advanced image processing and control systems, the alliance aims to deliver next-generation solutions that promise exceptional visuals, smoother image rendering, and superior reliability.

Demonstrations held during the signing event showcased the combined potential of their technologies, with a shared commitment to innovation, excellence, and future-readiness.

Together, these strategic developments highlight Unilumin’s relentless drive to localise intelligently, innovate boldly, and collaborate meaningfully—continuing its mission to illuminate new possibilities across the global visual display landscape.
