The Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) has recently incorporated the new L-Acoustics ARCS II constant curvature line source system in the institute’s auditorium, thereby being the first venue to install the L-Acoustics ARCS II speaker system in Southeast Asia.
Established in 1998, USIM boasts eight faculties with 18 academic programmes in fields such as studies, economics, law, and Islamic studies, among many others. Supported by local distributor, Tegas Broadcast & Multimedia Sdn Bhd, the full range speaker system was configured with three cabinets per side in a horizontal array configuration.
With uniform SPL coverage, the technical team from USIM was pleased with the system and is thinking of adding more L-Acoustic systems on the university premises.
