E&E and Community Bling at the Zuri in style and sophistication

Nestled in the heart of the Bangalore’s Whitefield suburb, the Zuri Whitefield is a chic business hotel in the country's Silicon Capital offering its guests a refreshing brand of hospitality with style and sophistication.

Bling is a hip bar and lounge featuring an ambience that is a class apart with plush couches, subtle lighting and exquisite chandeliers offering an exotic collection of wines, a fully operational bar and a delicious selection of entrees. It’s made to excite one into tapping one's feet to the rhythm of an irresistible musical ambience.

While being an ultra sophisticated space for the discerning visitors, an intriguing factor of the Bling's original design was that it lacked a permanent setup for audio and had to rely on a rental setup for all major events. Considering the predicament, the management, therefore, decided to retrofit the pub with a permanent setup that matched the high standards maintained by Zuri.

Having seen and examined many making their presence around, the management decided to rely on the experienced team of E&E Systems to provide them with complete audio solution for Bling.

Roshan Malim, a senior executive at E&E Systems India, headed the team commissioned to fulfill the task. It wasn't an easy task though, as he had to consider the acoustic environment and aesthetics that have already been built into the system, and of course the budget, before he sat down to design the permanent sound reinforcement.

The final solution consisted of four units of Community S1596 systems which are 15-inch loudspeakers providing a 90°x 60° pattern ensuring uniform coverage over the pub. The main speakers were supplemented with two units of Community S218s Subwoofers to cater to the low frequencies.

The speakers are powered by one Ashly KLR 3200 amplifier while the subwoofers were also powered by one Ashly KLR 4000. The systems are complemented by a Mackie SRM 450 v2 DJ Monitor, while the entire set-up was designed to be managed with one LA Audio DLX 260 DSP.

The final configuration came out so good that it weaved in an impressive sound ambience, immensely value adding the brand impression that Zuri wanted to symbolise.
