The
so-called “Back Book” is a translated, thoroughly reviewed and updated version
of the former “Technical Matters”, also know as part 3 of the Prolyte brochure.
“We are aware that numerous technicians carry our brochure around, just to have
all the detailed and practical information on truss and rigging topics at hand.
To accommodate the German speaking market, we have now published a German
version of this “Technical Matters”. Not just a translation of the existing
text, but adapted and updated to new developments and technical accomplishments
of today”, states Marina Prak, Marketing Manager at Prolyte.
The
Black book is published in a handy A5 format, and can be obtained at the stands
of Prolyte distributors at the Showtech exhibition (CAST: 1/250, Fischer:
1/430, Avantgarde: 1/245, Think Abele: 2/295). As Matze Moeller, representative
of Prolyte distributor Fisher, and contributor to this publication comments: “We
think this is a valuable tool for all German technicians. The content of the
booklet is specially adapted to the European and German market, where
standardisation and regulations might differ from other countries. I was told
that Prolyte plans to publish more versions of the Black Book, starting with
an, again, updated English version. Developments on international regulations
are currently in progress and Prolyte is always keen to inform their customers
on the latest trends and developments, which is also shown by their partaking
in the European CWA 25 commission.” www.prolyte.com
